Kawasaki Z900 Rider Rescues Girl Stuck Due To Giant Potholes On Bengaluru Roads [Video]

Bengaluru is often called the Silicon Valley of India, and there are several IT firms that have offices in this city. Bengaluru often makes it to the news for one reason or another. Recently, we have been seeing a lot of reports about the poor condition of roads in the city. Here we have one more video that shows the pathetic condition of the roads. In the video, we see a superbike owner giving a lift to a girl who was stuck on a road with massive potholes after the bike taxi she booked broke down upon entering one.
The video has been shared by an Instagram user, Lakshman Goswami. The rider was on his Kawasaki Z900, riding through a broken road in the city. It looks like it had rained recently, and that added to the misery of commuters on this stretch. There was slush and mud along with crater-like potholes on the road. In fact, some of these potholes were filled with water, and they almost looked like small lakes. As the rider went on, he spotted a Honda Activa rider on the side of the road.
The Activa rider was continuously trying to start his scooter. Just behind where the scooter was parked, there was a huge water-filled pothole as well. It looked like the scooter had stalled while he was trying to wade through the water. He kept trying to start it, but it was of no use.
The rider stopped, asked what had happened, and even helped the scooter rider. After several failed attempts to start the scooter, the biker told him that he might have to take it to a workshop.
He also warned the scooter rider that there were deeper sections ahead if he continued in the same direction, and that he should ideally turn around. The rider then realized that the scooter rider was from Rapido and that he was actually in the middle of a ride when this happened.
The girl who had booked the ride saw that the scooter had broken down and asked him to cancel it. However, she told him that she would still pay him for the ride. She then started looking for a way to get to the other side. The biker offered to help and asked her to get on his bike, as there was no safe way for her to walk across that stretch.
She got onto the Z900, and the rider dropped her on the other side where there was no waterlogging. He even tried to lighten the mood by acting like a Rapido driver, asking for OTPs and a 5-star rating after dropping her. Meanwhile, the Rapido rider pushed his scooter back through the water to a workshop.
The monsoon this year has damaged many roads in Bengaluru. Recently, a startup CEO even announced his intention of ‘moving out of Bellandur’ due to traffic and poor road conditions. Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister D. K. Shivakumar responded to this statement and made it clear that threatening or blackmailing the government won’t work for corporates. He assured that the government is already working towards finding a solution to fix the roads.
