We all have heard the expression that “age is just a number.” Well, there are actually some people who prove this expression right, and recently a video of one such couple has been shared online. In this short video clip, a young man was seen asking an elderly couple about their age after spotting them on the Khardungla Pass in Ladakh. This particular couple was seen riding a Royal Enfield Himalayan 411 despite their old age.

This video of the elderly couple in Ladakh has been shared on Instagram by Siddharth Sangu on their page. It starts off with the person recording the video mentioning that he has spotted a very old couple on the Khardungla Pass in Ladakh, following which he then goes up to them and starts asking them questions.

We can note that initially only the old man was sitting on the Royal Enfield Himalayan 411 adventure motorcycle. However, he then asks his wife to sit. The video also shows that this particular couple had all their luggage on the side of their motorcycle. Following this, the vlogger starts asking the man about their journey.

To this, the man replies that they have travelled all across Ladakh and have also been to the Nubra Valley and other popular places as well. After this, he asks him about his age. As a reply, the old gentleman then mentions that he is not very aged and he is still very young. He adds that age does not matter and people should have “himmat.”

As can be seen in the video, the vehicle being used for the ride is a Royal Enfield Himalayan 411. It was available before the launch of the Himalayan 450. The Himalayan 411 came powered by a 411 cc, air-cooled, SOHC, single-cylinder engine, mated to a five-speed gearbox. This engine used to churn out 24.3 hp and 32 Nm of torque.

The above-shown old man is not the only old motorcycle enthusiast. Back in April of this year, we shared a video of a 79-year-old man who still rides and regularly services his Kawasaki Ninja 650 sportsbike. His name is Rustom Copper, and in the short video, he was seen dropping off his motorcycle for a general service at a motorcycle shop.

As stated, the motorcycle seen in the video is a Kawasaki Ninja 650, which is priced at Rs 7.16 lakh. The Ninja 650 comes powered by a 649 cc, parallel-twin engine. It makes 67 bhp of peak power and 64 Nm at 6,700 rpm. Transmission duties are handled by a six-speed gearbox.

Apart from these old men, another video became viral in which an old man from Mumbai, who is an old bike specialist, was seen riding and stunting on a Yamaha RD-350, RX-Z, and other motorcycles. His official Instagram handle is Sattar Pilot, and he has a shop located in Mumbai, Maharashtra. He specializes in restoring iconic bikes and scooters like the Yamaha RD350, Yamaha RX-Z, Royal Enfield bikes, old Lambretta scooters, and others.
