Indian Biker On World Trip Gifted KTM 790 Adventure After Bike Gets Stolen Near London [Video]

Just a few days ago, a biker named Yogesh Alekari from India, who set out on a world tour on his KTM 390 Adventure, got stuck in London. In his viral video, he revealed that while he went for breakfast in Nottingham, his bike was stolen from the parking lot, following which he had been requesting everyone to share his message about his stolen bike. Thankfully, this message reached the right people and he was recently gifted a brand-new KTM 790 Adventure to continue his journey.
The video showing Yogesh Alekari taking delivery of his brand-new KTM 790 Adventure has been shared on Instagram by BBC Nottingham on their page. In this short clip, the biker can be seen arriving at the shop which has donated this motorcycle to him. He can be seen being extremely excited and grateful for the new bike. Alekari mentions that after 10 days of stress, he now has a genuine smile.
In the clip, Alekari can be seen starting the new KTM 790 Adventure for the first time and sitting on it, he looked extremely happy. He then shook hands with the owner of the shop, OffRoad Centre, which is an adventure motorcycle dealership located in Mansfield, Woodhouse. Alekari highlights that because of the support received from the shop, he will now be able to complete his journey.
Back on August 28, Alekari reached Nottingham on his KTM 390 Adventure after riding 15,000 km across different countries. He then parked his bike outside a restaurant and, unfortunately, when he came back out, his bike along with all his belongings was stolen from him. He did not have anything left except for his phone.
His passport, money, documents, and all his electronic gear were in the panniers of the stolen bike. In the viral clip, a number of thieves were seen coming in, stealing his bike, and getting away with his motorcycle. The video showed that the thieves used a hammer to break the lock and they even broke the handle before riding away with the bike.
Soon after this, Alekari shared this heartbreaking incident online. In his video, he was seen crying as the bike meant a lot to him. He added that he was now stranded and could not do anything without his bike. Following this, the news became viral online and several people shared it.
Initially, Alekari revealed that after he complained to the police authorities, he did not get any help. However, after his message became viral and several politicians and other influencers from India and England reshared his video and took his side, the police started the search for the thieves. It was then revealed that they managed to arrest an 18-year-old boy on the suspicion of stealing. However, the bike was not found.
What happened next was that the owner of the shop, OffRoad Centre, took notice of the situation and the shop shared a post online. They stated that they want to help Alekari in continuing his journey by giving him a KTM 790 Adventure, following which they met Alekari and the handover ceremony was done at the shop.
