Biker On Honda NX500 Crashes On Fresh Snow In The Mountains: Indian Army To The Rescue [Video]

Riding in the mountains is extremely risky, especially if you are a new rider. If you are not careful, accidents will happen. The degree of risk goes up even more when it’s raining or snowing at the top. The weather is quite unpredictable, and we have heard stories of riders getting stuck in the middle of nowhere because of snowfall.

Here we have one such video, where a biker who was coming from Nathu La Pass towards Siliguri came across unexpected snowfall and fell on the road. The biker was spotted by Indian Army personnel who later helped him pick up the bike.

The video has been shared by Ghumakkad Fufa on his YouTube channel. In this video, the vlogger was riding from Nathu La Pass, which is a mountain pass in the Dongkya Range of the Himalayas between China's Yadong County in Tibet and the Indian state of Sikkim. The rider reached the top and started his ride back to Siliguri in West Bengal.

On his way, the YouTuber had to ride through winding mountain roads. He was actually riding his Honda NX500 adventure tourer motorcycle. When he started the ride, the weather was clear, and then suddenly it changed. It started raining and became cold, and before he realized, it started snowing.

The rider continued riding through the rain without realizing the danger. On one of the curves, the front wheel slipped after it went over a layer of fresh snow. The front wheel locked, and before he knew it, he fell on the road.

There were no other vehicles on the road, and his left leg was caught under the bike. The rider managed to pull his leg out and started looking for help. The bike was heavy, and the surface was slippery. He was unable to pick it up on his own.

That is when he spotted an Army vehicle passing through the road. They stopped and helped him pick the bike up. The officers told him not to ride in these conditions as it is difficult. The rider decided to wait under a shed on the roadside after they helped him pick up the bike.

After some time, a Mahindra Xylo taxi driver stopped after seeing the rider. He asked the vlogger if he needed any help and told him not to wait at the spot and to continue riding, as the snowfall was only going to get heavier. If that happened, he would be stranded at the spot as he wouldn’t be able to ride the bike on the snow.

He listened to the local and resumed riding. He carefully rode his bike over the freshly fallen snow and made it to a safe spot. It was only after riding the bike for some kilometres that he realized his left leg and right hand were injured because of the fall. He carefully rode the bike out of the snow, and after this, the weather also changed. He rode through part of the Old Silk Route, reached Zuluk village, and called it a day.

If the Indian Army personnel had not stopped and helped the rider, it would have been extremely difficult for him to pick the bike up, as he was injured and the bike was heavy too.
