Punjab Family Spends Rs. 4.5 Lakh To Transport Beloved Royal Enfield Bullet To The UK [Video]

A lot of people who leave India to settle abroad generally sell off all their furniture, vehicles, and other immovable assets to make their transition into a new place smoother. However, recently a video has been shared online in which a family from Punjab was seen unloading a shipping container in the United Kingdom. This container was filled with their furniture and a Royal Enfield Bullet motorcycle.
This video showing a Punjabi family unloading a shipping container in the UK has been shared on Instagram by UB1UB2 on their page. It starts off with the shipping container, which was loaded on a truck, getting parked right in front of the house into which this family has shifted from Punjab. Following this, a few people were seen opening the doors of this shipping container.
We can note that the first thing which was inside this shipping container was a black-colored Royal Enfield Bullet motorcycle. This particular bike was then brought down on the road, and after this, the complete furniture setup was unloaded in front of the house of this family. A young man was seen sitting on the Royal Enfield, and his other family members were sitting on the completely wrapped-up furniture.
A lot of people in the comments section of this video have been asking the question about the worthiness of this much hassle to transport furniture and a Royal Enfield from India to the UK. Well, the answer to this is that it mostly depends on the sentimental value provided by these objects to the family which has left India to settle abroad.
Many netizens suggested that they could have sold the stuff in India and bought new furniture and a Royal Enfield motorcycle in the UK itself. However, it appears that the family values this furniture and was not willing to let go of it. Also, it is believed that they might have received a shipping container for a lower price, which might have made sense for them to ship their old furniture.
As for the motorcycle seen in the video, it is a Royal Enfield Bullet. This particular motorcycle is very popular amongst North Indian residents, especially people staying in Punjab. In India, the Royal Enfield Bullet starts at Rs 1.74 lakh and goes all the way up to Rs 2.15 lakh. It comes powered by a 346cc single-cylinder engine. This motor pushes out 19.8 bhp of peak power and 28 Nm of peak torque. A 5-speed manual gearbox is standard, and so is a carburetor.
In other Royal Enfield news, the company is currently working on the development of the Himalayan 750 adventure motorcycle. This motorcycle was recently spotted testing. It will come with a brand-new 750cc engine. It is believed that the new and larger engine could produce around 55 bhp and 60 Nm of torque.
Currently, the Himalayan 450 makes 39.47 bhp and 40 Nm of torque. In terms of pricing, the Himalayan 750 could start from Rs 4 lakh, which will be around Rs 1.15 lakh more than the Himalayan 450, which is currently available for sale.
