Man Runs Out Of Fuel On Royal Enfield: Books Rapido To Get 'Towed' To Petrol Bunk

We have all been in a situation at least once where we run out of fuel in our car or bike and are stranded in the middle of nowhere. If you are anywhere near your house, you could either push your bike or ask a friend to come with fuel or to help push. But if you are stranded like this far away from home, what will you do? Well, here we have a video of a Royal Enfield rider who happened to be in the same situation - and here is what he did.
The video has been shared by Shubham Parwar on his Instagram page. In the video, we see the POV of a Rapido bike taxi rider. He is on his way to pick up his next passenger. When he arrived at the location, he could only see a person with a Royal Enfield Bullet. When asked, the person told the bike taxi rider that he had booked the taxi not because he needed a ride, but because he wanted help. The location is not mentioned in the video but, it looks like this happened in Gurugram, Haryana.
He explained that his Bullet had run out of fuel and he had booked the bike taxi so he could reach the petrol pump. The Rapido rider was initially confused as he wasn’t sure what was happening. When he finally understood that he had been called to push or tow the bike, he was surprised.
He then told the Royal Enfield Bullet owner that he could not do that because the Classic 350 is a heavy bike and he had only recently gotten the engine on his scooter repaired. He couldn’t put too much pressure on the engine. The Bullet owner insisted and told him he didn’t have to go fast.
After this, the Rapido rider asked where the petrol pump was, and it wasn’t too far. The Rapido rider agreed to help push. The Royal Enfield owner sat on the bike while the Rapido rider pushed it with his scooter. They soon picked up speed, and in no time, the bike reached the petrol pump.
The Bullet rider rushed to the Rapido rider after parking his bike and made the payment. We’ve all been in such situations, and the Royal Enfield rider’s presence of mind probably saved him here. If he had tried to push the bike all the way to the petrol pump, it would have been extremely difficult and exhausting, especially since the Classic 350 is a heavy motorcycle.
The comment section of the video has several reactions, including one from Rapido itself. Rapido posted a comment: “Men see. Men like. Men happy. Men scroll ?.” Other users dropped comments like, “Looks like brother has no friends in the city,” “India is not for beginners,” and “Bike service still on bro?”
In many states like Karnataka, the government has stopped bike taxis. Many people commuting to offices rely on bike taxis as they are cheaper and can also bypass traffic better than an autorickshaw or a cab. The reason why Karnataka has banned bike taxi services is because the state government has refused to frame rules to regulate such services under the Motor Vehicles Act.
Apart from this, the High Court also noted that the Transport Department has consistently highlighted that using privately registered two‑wheelers for commercial passenger transport is illegal under current motor vehicle laws.
