The super-popular yogi and founder of the Isha Foundation, Jagadish "Jaggi" Vasudev, is also known for creating awareness for the protection of the environment. For this, every once in a while, the yogi organizes a bike rally and rides long distances to raise awareness about saving the soil, water, and other natural resources. In most of these rides, he is seen riding different and expensive adventure bikes. This time around, while traveling to Mount Kailash via Kathmandu, Nepal, he was seen off-roading on his Ducati Multistrada 1260, worth Rs 20 lakh.
The videos and images of Sadhguru off-roading in his Ducati Multistrada 1260 have been shared on Instagram by his official handle. In the short videos and images, Sadhguru is seen riding the Multistrada 1260 adventure motorcycle, which is one of the most capable bikes available in the market. In the first clip, he is seen checking some parts on the front side of his motorcycle.
Meanwhile, in the next video, he is seen riding this bike through an extremely muddy road with some traffic. We can note that he is also accompanied by other adventure motorcycle riders. Following this, another clip shows Sadhguru stopped on the side of a road and buying a freshly cut pineapple. After this, other videos show him enjoying the views on the way to Mount Kailash via Kathmandu, Nepal.
This particular ride to Mount Kailash is an awareness campaign, which is part of the Save Soil movement by the Isha Foundation, founded by Sadhguru. The aim of this ride is to create awareness for the protection and preservation of soil. The Save Soil movement was launched by Sadhguru back in 2022 to address the global crisis of soil degradation.
As mentioned, the adventure motorcycle being used by Sadhguru for his Save Soil ride to Kailash is the Ducati Multistrada 1260. This highly capable off-road motorcycle, when it was on sale in India until 2019, was priced at Rs 20 lakh for the top-spec Pikes Peak variant. It came equipped with a 1262cc Ducati Testastretta DVT engine that was capable of producing 156 bhp and 129.5 Nm of torque.
Apart from the Ducati Multistrada 1260, Sadhguru also owns a red-and-blue-coloured Ducati Scrambler Desert Sled off-roader motorcycle as well. This motorcycle is powered by an air-cooled, twin-cylinder, 803cc engine, which makes 73 bhp of maximum power and 66.2 Nm of maximum torque.
He also rides his Honda Africa Twin adventure motorcycle on his Save Soil rallies. Sadhguru's Africa Twin is finished in the shade of black. This flagship Honda adventure bike comes equipped with a liquid-cooled, parallel-twin, 1084cc engine, which produces 101 PS of maximum power and 105 Nm of maximum torque.
As for cars, Sadhguru drives around in a Land Rover Defender 110. What makes his Defender special is its powertrain. The spiritual yogi has opted for the range-topping 5.0-litre supercharged V8 petrol engine, which produces 525 bhp of power and 625 Nm of torque. Sadhguru was also spotted driving a previous-generation Mercedes-Benz G63 AMG luxury SUV as well.
