Mom Gifts Son 1000cc Superbike (Video)
Moms gifting sons their favourite vehicles are always satisfying to watch. Such videos amass massive viewership on various social media platforms. The Revz- a pre-owned superbike shop has shared such a video on Instagram which shows an Indian mom gifting her son a 1000cc superbike- a Kawasaki ZX10R!
This video is from Tamil Nadu. It starts by showing the premises of the family's home. The bike is kept covered by a cloth. The mom and sister are seen waiting for the guy to arrive. The girl is likely just back after some function/ competition and is wearing a dance costume and has her makeup on. Soon, the guy (the son) enters the scene. The mom holds his hand, and direct him to the bike. The son realises that he is about to get a very expensive gift- the moment is indeed priceless.
The son then takes the cloth cover off the motorcycle.In a shocking surprise, he realises that he's just received a Kawasaki Ninja ZX 10R as a gift from his beloved mom! The video further says that it took the mother five months of hard work to get the bike for her son. The son then hugs her and even sheds happy tears. He then shares the joy with the other family members as well. Towards the end of the video, we see him take the bike for a spin, without wearing a helmet or other protective gear.
This ZX 10R was bought from The Revz, a Tamil Nadu-based pre-owned superbike dealer. In the video's description, the shop said "I wish Let this mom fulfil his family’s endless dreams for her kids… It’s a pleasure and I feel emotional to deliver the KAWASAKI ZX10R to this family. Thank you for choosing THE REVZ."
The ZX10R has an ex-showroom price of Rs 18.50 lakh in India. Recently, Kawasaki even announced a massive 1 lakh rupees discount on the motorcycle, which brought the price down to Rs 17.50 lakh, ex-showroom. The revision has pumped more value into the product. The new price is valid till July 31, 2025, and can be availed at all Kawasaki dealerships in India.
The motorcycle that this Indian mom has gifted her son is a fully-loaded 2021 ZX 10R. Compared to its predecessor, the 2021 model had notable styling changes. The front end had a 'reverse slant' design, a nod to the H2's styling. It came with LED headlamps as well. The footpegs were placed higher and the Supersport had a taller windscreen as well. The bike even came with winglets for added downforce.
The 2021 update also brought more features to the ZX10R. The likes of a full-colour 4.3-inch TFT display, Bluetooth connectivity, three preset riding modes (Sport, Road, Rain) and four customisable modes, cruise control, five-stage traction control, launch control, cornering ABS and engine brake control were added to the product.
Powering the vehicle was a 998cc, inline-four cylinder engine, which used to make 200 bhp and 114 Nm. The oil cooler, exhaust, electronic throttle valves, and gear ratios had changes.
Interestingly, the 2025 ZX10R continues to be powered by the same engine. The power and torque figures have gone up slightly. It now produces 200.21bhp at 13,200rpm (210bhp with RAM air) and 114.9Nm of peak torque. It comes mated to a six-speed transmission and gets a bi-directional quickshifter.
The bike also comes with electronic rider aids, selectable ride modes, TFT display with smartphone connectivity and more. Even with its current price tag, the ZX-10R packs immense value for your money. It strikes a sweet balance between price and performance.
