Wrong-side driving or riding is a common sight on our roads. Sadly, people have normalised this behaviour in many parts. While most of them are aware that wrong-side driving is illegal, they continue to do so just to save a few seconds. Here we have one such video of a Mahindra Thar driver who decided to go on the wrong side. However, a woman riding a Royal Enfield Bullet passing through the same stretch stopped in front of the SUV and made him go back and drive on his correct side. The video was posted online and has now gone viral on the internet.

The video was shared by Punekar News on their Facebook page. In this video, we see the woman riding a Royal Enfield in front of the Mahindra Thar that was coming on the wrong side. Usually, we have seen people make a huge scene about it and even record such incidents either on their phone or using helmet cameras.

In this case, we don’t see the woman arguing or even talking to the Mahindra Thar driver. The woman stood in front of the vehicle, and the Thar owner knew that he was doing the wrong thing by driving on the wrong side of the road.

He immediately started reversing the vehicle, and the woman on the Royal Enfield continued her ride. The video was posted online with the caption: “Thar vs Bullet… and the Bullet won! Pune: A woman riding a Bullet stopped a Thar coming from the wrong direction.

No shouting. No drama. Just confidence, courage, and clarity. She reminded the driver of traffic rules and made him turn back – right there on the road. One moment. One woman. This isn’t just about a traffic violation – it’s about standing up for what's right, even when you're alone on two wheels.”

The comment section under this video is filled with reactions like: “This isn't Bullet power, this is woman power.” “Great resilience from that biker. These Thar owners are just a menace in the city.”, and so on.

While there is a section of users who are praising the woman for her courage in standing up to the Thar driver, there are others who are also pointing out another violation in this video. Driving a vehicle on the wrong side of the road is illegal, and so is riding a bike without a number plate.

In the video, the Royal Enfield Bullet ridden by the woman is missing a registration number. Just like us, other viewers also noticed that and pointed out that the woman should have ensured she was following all the rules before asking others to do so.

Any vehicle driven without a proper registration number is illegal on our roads. Without this number, it would be extremely difficult for the authorities to identify or keep track of these vehicles. Both wrong side driving and riding a vehicle without number plate are illegal and cops can issue fine in both cases if needed.

If you ever find yourself in such a situation, never try to confront the other party or argue with anyone. Simply click a picture or video of the vehicle and report it to the cops. Most city traffic police departments are active on social media, and hopefully, they would take necessary action against such violations.
