The Honda Transalp 750 middleweight adventure motorcycle was launched by the company back in 2023. However, in 2024, the company globally launched the updated model. Now, finally, it has been reported that Honda is gearing up for the launch of the updated Transalp 750 in India. This new bike will get an updated design and a few mechanical changes but will continue to get the same powertrain as the current model. Recently, Honda also debuted the Rebel 500 in India.

In terms of the changes on the upcoming Honda Transalp 750, it will look very similar to the current-generation model. However, it will now be getting a redesigned front fascia with a new twin-headlamp setup. Also, being an adventure bike, it will now be getting a new and improved windscreen, which will be made out of Durabio, a bio-engineered, eco-friendly plastic.

Apart from these changes, the bike will also get three new color options, including Rose White, Graphite Black, and Pearl Deep Mud Grey. The bike will continue to get a 5-inch TFT screen, full-LED lighting, smartphone connectivity, voice-assisted features, emergency stop signal, traction control, ride-by-wire, slipper clutch, and five riding modes.

Powertrain

Honda will continue to offer the Transalp 750 with the same 755cc liquid-cooled, parallel-twin engine. This motor will be capable of producing 90 bhp of maximum power and 75 Nm of torque. As for the gearbox, it will also remain unchanged with a six-speed unit on offer. It will also come with retuned fuel injection for better throttle response and smoother power delivery in low and mid RPM ranges.

Suspension duties will also be continued by the same upside-down front forks and monoshock rear suspension. However, refinements have been made by Honda to increase the ride quality on both road and off-road terrains. The Transalp 750 will also get a 21-inch front wire-spoke wheel with dual disc brakes. Meanwhile, the rear will be an 18-inch spoke wheel with a single disc brake.

As per the reports, Honda could be officially debuting the new Transalp 750 in June or July this year. As for the price, it could be priced at a slight premium over the last model, which was launched at Rs 11 lakh. Once launched, it will be taking on rivals like the KTM 890 Adventure R in India.

Honda Rebel 500 Launched in India

In other Honda motorcycle news, the company, just a few days ago, launched the all-new Rebel 500 cruiser motorcycle in India. Honda has launched this bike with a price tag of Rs 5.12 lakh. This new bike will take on rivals like the Royal Enfield Shotgun 650, Super Meteor 650, and the Kawasaki Eliminator 500 in India.

Powering the Honda Rebel 500 is a 471cc, liquid-cooled, parallel twin-cylinder engine, which is capable of producing 46 PS and 43.3 Nm of peak torque. The engine comes mated to a 6-speed gearbox. Features of this bike include an LCD instrument cluster, dual-channel ABS, 16-inch alloy wheels, and others. Honda will also be launching the CB750 Hornet and the CB1000 Hornet in India as well.
