Classic Legends is readying the 2025 Yezdi Adventure for launch on 15 May, but expectations should be realistic—this is not a radical new model, but a refreshed version of an existing package. The Adventure remains true to its core: a budget-friendly, go-anywhere motorcycle built for buyers who want a mix of road and light trail ability, without paying a premium. While the Yezdi brand still carries a bit of nostalgia, this motorcycle competes in a very contemporary and competitive segment where charm alone isn’t enough.

Minor Tweaks, Same Core Setup

Under the skin, there are no surprises. The 334cc liquid-cooled engine continues unchanged, producing around 29.6 bhp and 29.8 Nm. It’s a motor that does the job—smooth enough in most riding conditions and reasonably tractable. It doesn't feel overly quick, but it offers enough mid-range grunt to hold highway speeds and handle climbs with luggage or a pillion.

Changes for 2025 are likely to focus on cosmetics and small hardware or electronic tweaks—perhaps new colour schemes, minor bodywork revisions, or refinements to the dash and controls. The 2024 update had already introduced a lighter tank cage and revised ride setup. With this update, Classic Legends seems to be refining the formula rather than changing it. Pricing is expected to stay in the ₹2.10–2.20 lakh (ex-showroom) range.

On the Road: Good for Distance, Needs Some Finesse

The Yezdi Adventure’s biggest strength lies in its highway stability and rider comfort over longer distances. The seating is upright and accommodating, with a firm but supportive saddle and decently wide handlebars. In my own experience—and echoed by many long-term users—the bike handles broken tarmac with more composure than most rivals at this price point. The suspension, retuned in recent updates, offers noticeably better damping, especially when riding with luggage.

However, it’s not without flaws. At close to 190 kg, the bike feels heavy when filtering through city traffic or navigating tight parking spaces. While cornering on open roads feels predictable and planted, the same confidence doesn’t translate when riding at low speed or in stop-and-go conditions. The engine stays refined under 6,000 rpm, but push it harder and you’ll feel mild vibrations through the pegs and bars.

Occasionally, the engine heat can be bothersome in traffic, especially during summer. Other niggles include average quality switchgear and tyres that could use an upgrade if you’re planning regular off-road excursions. Build quality has improved with each update, but there’s still room for better material finishes in certain areas. We will be waiting to see if the 2025 update fixes these minor issues.

How It Compares

The Yezdi Adventure finds itself in a busy space. The Hero XPulse 210 is the more affordable and lighter option, ideal for beginners or those sticking mostly to urban riding and light trails.

The KTM 250 Adventure is more refined and performance-focused, with sharper handling and a better tech suite—but at a higher price. Then there’s the Royal Enfield Himalayan 450, which outguns the Yezdi in power and off-road hardware, but also costs significantly more and weighs more.

Where the Yezdi still holds an edge is in offering an accessible entry point to adventure touring—an all-rounder that can do most things reasonably well, without leaning too heavily in one direction.

Final Word: An Evolved Middleweight That Still Makes Sense

With the 2025 update, Classic Legends appears focused on keeping the Yezdi Adventure competitive through small but relevant improvements. This isn’t a transformation—it’s a mild evolution, perhaps just enough to retain interest among budget-conscious tourers who want a bike that can do a bit of everything.

It remains an appealing option for those who value comfort, road presence, and versatility, even if it doesn’t top the class in any one metric. For buyers eyeing a mid-range adventure machine without stepping into premium territory, the Yezdi Adventure is still in the mix—just with a bit more polish for 2025.
