Classic Legends has launched the new 2025 Yezdi Roadster in India with a slew of customisation options and six factory custom kits. The standard motorcycle has an ex-showroom price of Rs 2.09 lakh (the same price as the model it replaces), while the upper ceiling is Rs 2.26 lakh for the 'Shadow Black'. The new bike gets a revised exterior styling and more personalisation options. Below are the variant-wise prices:

Plus, the company is also working on improving its ownership experience. It has announced that the new Roadster will come with a 4-year/ 50,000 km standard warranty. A five-year maintenance package will also be offered.

2025 Yezdi Roadster: Changes Explained

The wheelbase of the new Roadster remains the same as before- 1440 mm. The seat height, however, is up by 5mm, now tipping the scale at 795mm. It is very approachable indeed. The rear tyre has 150mm section and helps in giving the motorcycle ample stability. The bike also comes with a split seat design, the rear unit of which can be removed.

Many other visual changes can be spotted on the updated motorcycle. The classic roadster style and proportions have been kept intact. It gets round LED headlight, a new front cowl, a teardrop-shaped fuel tank, curved fenders and sleek tail lights.

Extensive Customisation Options Now Out!

Yezdi has also launched more than 50 customisation options for the Roadster, along with six factory custom- Sharkskin Blue, Smoke Grey, Bloodrush Maroon, Savage Green, Shadow Black. These colour options differ with their ex-showroom prices as well. Integrated tail-light and turn indicators, dual tone colours, hydroformed handlebar and a removable pillion seat are all parts of the factory custom packages.

The new Roadster is powered by the 334cc, liquid-cooled Alpha 2 engine which does duty on the recently launched Adventure. It gets a cast iron liner and comes mated to a six-speed transmission with slip and assist clutch. Classic Legends says that this has a gear-based calibration for optimised performance. The powertrain output stands at 28.6 bhp and 30 Nm (0.6 Nm more than the previous model). The company claims that this engine has been tuned to deliver better low-speed rideability.

Braking duties are carried out by 320mm single disc at the front and 240mm unit at the rear. There is also a dual-channel ABS on offer.

Yezdi Looking At Rapid Expansion Of Touchpoints

Jawa, Yezdi plans to introduce more advanced products in the future, and is looking at a rapid expansion of its dealer and touchpoint network. The plan is to expand the sales and service network to 450 by Diwali this year and then to more than 500- says Sharad Agarwal, Chief Business Officer of Classic Legends. At present, the brand has 350 outlets across India. The proposed expansion will mean a significant jump over this.

The leadership also acknowledged the notice of recent hate campaigns on various social media platforms, against Jawa and Yezdi. These often criticized Jawa and Yezdi bikes for their after-sales service, engine reliability, and performance issues.

Co-founder Boman Irani also acknowledged the challenges caused by the COVID-19 pandemic in the past. It looks like the bikemaker is clear of all these hurdles and is on the path of steady improvement. Recently, we saw it introduce the new Adventure in the Indian market, and now we have the new Roadster.

Achieving the proposed expansion of touchpoints will also have a positive impact on the sales and acceptance of these motorcycles. Classic Legends has also mentioned about how keen they are on improving the products and making them 'evolve'.
