The adventure motorcycle (ADV) segment is flourishing in its acceptance. The mid-capacity ADV segment continues to witness massive customer footfalls and aggressive product launches from brands. Here are five affordable adventure bike launches that are expected to make this year more eventful for two-wheeler lovers.

BMW F 450

BMW Motorrad showcased the F 450 GS concept at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo, earlier this year. The motorcycle had made its first appearance at the EICMA last year. When it enters production, the F 450 GS will become BMW's smallest and most affordable multi-cylinder offering.

There have been multiple instances of the near-production F450 being spotted on test. If we are to go by these sightings, the production bike could feature major deviations from the show bike on various fronts, including design. It will likely be more road-biased, unlike the concept, which was more off-road focused.

The F450 will be produced at the TVS plant under the ongoing manufacturing partnership between the two companies. The market launch is expected to commence around November-December this year.

TVS RTX 300

It looks like TVS Motor Company is finally preparing to launch its first-ever ADV in the Indian market. We expect the motorcycle to be out in the next two-three months. The product will likely be called the RTX 300 when launched, powered by TVS's new 300cc engine- the RTX D4.

The motorcycle had made its first public appearance at the Auto Expo 2025 and the production version has been spied on test multiple times. Spy shots hint that the RTX 300 will be road-biased but capable off-road. It will likely ride on 19 inch front and 17 inch rear wheels. The company could also come up with a more off-road centric variant of this motorcycle which could be sold alongside the standard RTX 300.

KTM 390 Adventure R

KTM is reportedly considering the 390 Adventure R for the Indian market. If there is good demand for it, the Adventure R will go on sale in India, later this year. The Adventure R is for serious ADV and off-road enthusiasts. It will have a seat height of 870mm. The suspension too will have longer travel. The motorcycle is expected to ride on Mitas Enduro Trail rubber. The powertrain and almost every other aspect could remain identical to the outgoing 390 Adventure. The 390 Adventure R is expected to be priced around 4 lakh rupees, when launched.

CFMoto 450 MT

CF Moto is set to launch a new ADV into the mid-capacity segment. The CF Moto 450MT is for people who prefer hardcore off-roading and will have a seat height of 820mm. India launch could happen close to the festive season.

Royal Enfield Himalayan 650

The Himalayan is highly popular among ADV lovers. Royal Enfield is known to be working on a 650cc version of the same. Enthusiasts have long been demanding a bigger capacity Himalayan and looks like the brand has finally responded to the customer demand. The vehicle has been spotted on test several times. The market launch could happen later this year. If reports are to be believed, the production motorcycle will come with 19 inch front and 17 inch rear wheels.

The European spec rides on Vredestein Centauro tyres while the Indian spec could come with more affordable rubber. The front wheel could feature dual disc brakes and axial Bybre callipers.

The suspension on the bigger Himalayan will likely feature adjustable upside-down front forks (USD) and an upright, linkage-type setup at the rear. The seating position could be more touring-oriented. The powertrain will be the same as the other 650cc models- a 650cc parallel-twin engine that produces around 47 hp and 52 Nm.
