The first model from Royal Enfield which will be based on the new 750cc platform will be the Continental GT 750 GT-R. This fully faired café racer has been codenamed as the R1E and will be launched by the end of FY2026, which will be before April 2026. This new motorcycle will feature a newly designed 750cc parallel-twin engine which will make around 55 bhp and 65 Nm of torque.

At the moment, the exact figures have not been revealed, and these are speculated numbers. Other highlights that could be seen on this new motorcycle will be dual front disc brakes, a new LCD display, and others. Once launched, it will most likely become the most expensive motorcycle in the Royal Enfield range of bikes available for sale in the country.

Along with the launch of the Continental GT 750 GT-R, the company will also launch the Interceptor 750 in India around the same time (FY2026 end). This new modern-retro motorcycle will boast a similar silhouette to the Interceptor 650 but with subtle upgrades. It will get an LED tail light, LED turn indicators, alloy wheels, and a circular LED headlamp.

Other highlights will include a teardrop fuel tank and classic side panels. Powering this motorcycle will be the same 750cc parallel-twin-cylinder motor, which will generate around 55 bhp. It will also get dual front disc brakes, beefier telescopic forks, and twin shock absorbers. The Interceptor 750 will be tuned for a balance between comfort and handling.

During the last spotting of this bike's test mule, it was noted that the bike had a tall stance, high-mounted handlebar, and circular LED headlight. It also had a tall visor, adjustable levers, split seat, upswept exhaust, and rear carrier plate for mounting luggage boxes. It will also get 19-inch front and 17-inch rear spoked wheels. As per the reports, the Himalayan 750 will be priced around Rs 4 lakh, making it around Rs 1.15 lakh more expensive than the Himalayan 450.
