Bengaluru City Police Get 5 New Royal Enfield Motorcycles Modified To Look Like Harley Davidsons

The Bengaluru City Police recently received five custom-made Royal Enfield motorcycles for their fleet. These Royal Enfield Classic motorcycles have been modified to look like Harley-Davidson cruiser bikes. Recently, a video showing Bengaluru City Police Commissioner B Dayanand checking out these unique bikes at his office has been shared online. The Commissioner of Police even rides the bike to test it.
These Royal Enfield Classic custom bikes have been created by Bulleteer Custom Motorcycles. This is a shop from Bangalore known for producing some of the most unique custom motorcycles based on Royal Enfield bikes. In August of this year, for the occasion of Independence Day, the shop decided to make five custom Royal Enfield motorcycles for the Bengaluru City Police.
These bikes were then showcased to Commissioner of Police B Dayanand at his office. In a short video, the owner of the shop can be seen showcasing and explaining the details of these custom bikes to the police commissioner. Following this, a female police officer was seen riding this bike along with B Dayanand as well.
The bikes custom-made for the Bengaluru City Police are based on the Royal Enfield Classic 350. In order to set these bikes apart from the standard Classic 350s on the road, the shop has added many unique elements. The main design element is the addition of a Batman-style front fairing.
If you have seen police trooper bikes from Hollywood movies, you’ll instantly recognize it. The shop has mimicked the look of the Harley-Davidson cruiser motorcycles used by police authorities in the USA. The shop has also added a custom leg guard that houses the red and blue police marker lights.
Apart from these, custom-made pannier boxes on both sides of the bike add to the bulky cruiser appearance of these bikes. Bulleteer Custom Motorcycles has also given these bikes a custom black-and-white paint job, with the top half being white and the rest of the bike being black.
There are also Bengaluru City Police decals on the pannier boxes, unique tan-and-black leather seat upholstery, and matching helmets. Lastly, the shop has also added custom exhausts to the bikes, which offer a very unique thumping exhaust note.
Most likely, in terms of the powerplant, the shop has not changed anything. This means that these bikes come powered by the same J-Series, 349cc single-cylinder engine. This motor is capable of producing a healthy 20.2 bhp and 27 Nm of torque. It comes mated to a five-speed gearbox.
As per the Commissioner of Bengaluru City Police, these special bikes will be used to escort VVIP guests. These bikes were also used in the Independence Day police parade this year. Apart from these, most likely, they will be used on a few other special occasions.
Back in 2020, Bengaluru City Police women officials received Royal Enfield Himalayan motorcycles. These bikes were given to female sub-inspectors. Prior to receiving these bikes, these officers were given proper training on riding them in two phases.
As part of their training, they were also introduced to the Royal Enfield Interceptor 650 and Classic 350 as well. Following this, a ride was conducted to Nandi Hills to commemorate the newly formed brigade. The ride was flagged off by Shri Bhaskar Rao, IPS, Commissioner of Police, Bengaluru City, at the office of City Armed Reserve Headquarters, Bengaluru.
