Video of Couple Romancing on Moving Royal Enfield in Bengaluru Goes Viral: Netizens Demand Action

The majority of people in India rely on two-wheelers to commute from one point to another. India is a major market for two-wheeler manufacturers, which is why we have several international brands in the country. With the rising popularity of these bikes, the riding culture in India has also improved. This has both positive and negative impacts. On one side, we see people riding with proper gear and following rules, while on the other side, we have people who love to break rules, ride recklessly, and even perform stunts, often causing accidents. Here we have one such video where a couple is seen romancing on a moving bike in broad daylight.

Romancing Couple on Bike

The video has been shared by Karnataka Portfolio on the social media platform X. It was recorded by a social media user from Bengaluru. In this video, we see a Royal Enfield Classic motorcycle being ridden on a busy city road. The bike is ridden by a boy, and a girl is also with him on the bike.

In fact, she is not sitting on the pillion seat of the bike; she is sitting on the tank of the bike, facing the rider. The girl on the bike is hugging the rider, and the post claims that the couple was seen romancing and kissing in public.

We do not see that here in the video, though. We only see the hugging part. There is a riding helmet hanging on the right side of the bike, but both the rider and his friend are not wearing any helmets. The boy changes lanes and rides the bike aggressively through the gaps between vehicles.

After the video was shared online, it became viral, and many people reacted to it as well. Most of them were furious to see such an act on a public road. There is no clarity on whether such an act was done to create some viral content for social media.

We have seen many youngsters do such stunts to gain popularity on social media. Under this video, we have several comments that show how furious people are to see such an act in public. Some of the comments are: "Failure of Law & Order," "@bellandurutrfps @wftrps Please look into this and take necessary action… Cc @Jointcptraffic," "Maybe she’s unwell and he’s taking her to the hospital," "Nice.. I like it...it's a deliberate act to trigger people with low impulse and frustrate them.??," and so on.

Not the First Time

This is not the first time we have come across a video like this on the internet. Last year, we saw a similar video from Karnataka where a couple was seen romancing on a moving Royal Enfield Continental GT 650 bike. Just like in this case, the girl was sitting on the fuel tank, hugging the rider. We are not sure if the video has reached the concerned authorities or not.

Usually, Bengaluru police take swift action against such offenders. By performing such stunts on public roads, the biker is not only risking his own life but also the lives of other road users. As you can see, neither of them is wearing a helmet, which is extremely dangerous.
