Child 'Transported' In Bag Tied to Motorcycle Handlebar [Video]
The crazy things that you can see on public roads in India and on social media platforms are truly unimaginable. In most cases, we see people taking kids on motorcycles by making them sit on the fuel tank or by making them sit in the rear with their arms spread around the rider. However, recently, a video has gone viral on the internet, showing an extremely unique way. In this clip, a very young kid was seen being carried in a bag tied to the handlebar of a bike.

This video of a man taking a kid in a bag has been shared on Instagram by Vinay Kumar on his page. It starts off with the man showing that he was riding a motorcycle on a bridge and was going down. Soon after this, the rider points the camera towards the right side of the handlebar. We can then note that there was a bag tied to the handlebar, and inside it was a kid.
As shocking as this is to watch, there was literally a kid staring at the cameraman. Whether the person riding the bike and taking this kid in this extremely unique and unsafe manner is the father or not is currently unknown. Also, where exactly this video was taken is also unknown.
This is extremely unsafe
It goes without saying that transporting a young kid in this way is not at all safe. There are so many things that can go wrong at any given point, and the only person who will suffer is that young kid. First off, the handle of the bag can easily break off after the bike goes over any bump. Also, if for any reason the rider loses control of the bike and falls on the right side, this baby could get crushed.
Lastly, other people riding on the road are unaware of this stupid way of transporting a kid, and if any other two-wheeler or four-wheeler hits this biker, then again, the impact will be on the kid, and he or she could lose their life. Apart from these, there are many things that could go wrong, and yet still, this person decided to take his kid in such a way.
Now whether this person regularly takes his kid in this manner or if this was a one-time thing is currently unknown. However, in either case, it is extremely worrying and unsafe, and the person should be apprehended. What's unfortunate is that it will most likely never be found out who did this, and the person will get away with such stupid behavior.
Indian parents are very careless
Although not as extreme as this particular person who has taken his kid in a bag, many Indian parents are very careless when it comes to their kids’ safety on a two-wheeler or four-wheeler. Most parents who take their kids on scooters or motorcycles do not provide them with a proper helmet. They also let them sit on the front on the fuel tank or make them stand at the front on a scooter.
All of these things are recipes for disaster. However, despite knowing the consequences, people still do it. As for car owners, many parents take their young kids and let them sit in the front passenger seat without a seatbelt on. This method is extremely dangerous because, in case of a head-on collision, the kids can get seriously injured. Also, most Indian parents do not invest in a car seat for young kids and instead make them sit on their lap.
