So here is the list of the bikes that you should be most excited about.
The most premium adventure motorcycle from Royal Enfield, the Himalayan 750, will be showcased at EICMA. It was recently spotted in a production-ready guise in Chennai. Its main highlight will be the new 750cc parallel-twin engine, derived from RE’s 648cc platform. It is expected to make 55 bhp and 60 Nm. It will also be showcased in India at Royal Enfield Motoverse 2025, Goa, as well.
Developed by BMW Motorrad in partnership with TVS Motor in India, the BMW F 450 GS will become the brand's newest and most affordable adventure motorcycle in India. It will come powered by an all-new 450cc parallel-twin engine making around 47.3 bhp. The F 450 GS is also expected to get an ASA (Automated Shift Assistant) semi-automatic gearbox option, which has been confirmed.
To rival the Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 in the middleweight adventure tourer segment, TVS will be showing its upcoming bike, which will be based on BMW’s 450cc platform. It is expected to get a 450cc liquid-cooled parallel-twin producing around 45–48 bhp. It will also be taking on the KTM 390 Adventure as well.
To take the spot of the flagship motorcycle in Hero MotoCorp’s lineup, the Xpulse 421 is officially set for a world premiere in Milan. The top-of-the-line adventure motorcycle from Hero will come powered by a 421cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled engine making around 35–40 bhp. It will be taking on the Himalayan 450, BMW F 450 GS, TVS 450cc adventure motorcycle, and KTM 390 Adventure.
Just a few days ago, the Japanese bike maker Kawasaki shared a teaser of an adventure motorcycle. This new bike, the KLE 500, will be based on the Ninja 500’s platform and will also share its 451cc parallel-twin engine. Its design will be inspired by the original KLE.
A successor to the Trident 660, built on the Tiger Sport 800’s mechanicals, the Triumph Trident 800 is also expected to make its official debut at EICMA 2025. It will come powered by a 798cc triple-cylinder engine making around 115 bhp and 84 Nm. It will be positioned as an affordable middleweight between the Street Triple and Tiger series.
From RE’s “Flying Flea” EV division, two new models, namely the C6 (neo-retro roadster) and the S6 (scrambler), will be showcased at EICMA 2025. These bikes will be built on the new L-platform and will boast a compact, lightweight design and an aluminium frame. They will also offer AI-based smart systems using the Qualcomm Snapdragon QC2290 chip. Both bikes will get RE’s own battery pack, ECU, and motor.
Another electric motorcycle from the Chennai-based bike maker on display at EICMA will be the electric version of RE’s popular ADV. Like the S6 and C6, it will also boast an aluminium frame and subframe with the battery as a structural element. It is expected to offer a 14 kWh battery pack and an estimated 200–250 km range. Reports have claimed that it could take the title of being the most powerful bike from the brand.
The first bike to utilize KTM’s new 490cc twin-cylinder platform will be the RC 490 sports bike. It is expected to make 50–55 bhp and be smoother and more refined than the current model. Once launched, it will rival the Aprilia RS 457, Kawasaki Ninja 500, and Honda CBR500R.
The KTM 490 Duke, which will be the sibling of the RC 490, will also use the same engine. This bike was also recently spotted testing. The bike will boast the same super-aggressive naked streetfighter design that the Duke is known for. The launch is expected to take place sometime in 2026.
