This new model has been launched with a price tag of Rs 59,490 for the BaaS (Battery as a Service) model. There are two main variants, namely – VX2 Plus and VX2 Go. It will sit below the Vida V2 in Hero MotoCorp’s electric scooter lineup.

The Hero Vida VX2 takes its design inspiration from the Vida Z. Unlike its siblings, the Vida V1 and V2, the VX2 aims to fulfill the needs of urban family buyers. Instead of the split seats, the VX2 features a large stepped-up single-piece seat. Apart from it, the scooter also features 12-inch wheels, which are the same as the V2 range.
The scooter also features an LED headlight with an LED DRL integrated inside it and mounted on the front apron. It also features simple rear-view mirrors and a no-fuss handlebar with a screen in the middle. Unlike the V2, it is not a touchscreen unit and gets a joystick to control its functions.
Moving to the rear end, the scooter features an LED taillight and a single-piece practical rear grab handle. It also boasts VX2 badges on the side profile. Overall, the VX2 is a very practical scooter that will fulfill the needs of family buyers.
One of the main highlights of the Hero MotoCorp Vida VX2 is that it will be offered with two removable batteries. The base variant gets a single 2.2 kWh removable battery pack, which provides a range of 92 km. Meanwhile, the top variant comes with a 3.4 kWh battery pack that offers an impressive range of 142 km.
Hero Vida VX2 competes with the popular family electric scooters such as the TVS iQube, which is priced at Rs 1.02 lakh and goes up to Rs 1.59 lakh. It also takes on the Bajaj Chetak, which is priced at Rs 99,900 and goes up to Rs 1.42 lakh.
The Vida VX2 also rivals the Ather Rizta, which starts at Rs 98,311 and goes till Rs 1.18 lakh. Lastly, it also takes on the Ola S1 Air, which starts at Rs 89,999, and the S1 X, which is priced at Rs 69,999 in India.
Hero MotoCorp has launched the Vida VX2 on July 1st to honor Dr. Brijmohan Lall Munjal, Founder & Chairman Emeritus, who was born on July 1, 1923. The vehicle was launched by Pawan Kant Munjal, who serves as the Chairman, Managing Director, and CEO of Hero MotoCorp.
