Hero MotoCorp currently offers the XPulse 200 4V in India, and it is the brand’s solo adventure motorcycle. However, the company is now working on the development of its elder sibling, the Hero XPulse 421. This new model will be launched around mid-2025 and will compete directly with the Royal Enfield Himalayan 450. So far, we have only had the chance to see the drawings of this bike, which were released at the EICMA 2024. However, recently, a video rendering of this upcoming bike has been shared online.
Hero XPulse 421: Design Details
The video rendering of the upcoming Hero XPulse 421 has been shared on YouTube by Tripple Lines on their channel. In this short video, two Hero XPulse 421 motorcycles, one finished in white and one finished in red, can be seen parked right next to each other. These bikes look extremely aggressive and masculine and appear a lot more premium than the XPulse 200 4V, which is presently on sale in India.

First off, let’s talk about the front-end design of this motorcycle. It can be noted that the XPulse 421 in the rendering gets a much more modern-looking single-piece LED headlight with two projectors inside. It also gets a unique H-pattern LED DRL, which adds to the futuristic appearance.
The rendered models also have a large tinted windscreen and upside-down fork suspension with golden shock absorbers. Other notable highlights on this bike include wired front spoke wheels with a large single disc brake. Moving on to the side profile, we can note that the bike gets beautiful and protective shrouds finished in different colors.

It also gets rear-set foot pegs and an upright handlebar with protective knuckle guards and thin rearview mirrors. Its sculpted fuel tank is much larger than the XPulse 200 4V and adds to the muscular appeal of this adventure motorcycle. The XPulse 421 also gets sharp and large side panels, which make it look a lot bigger in size.
We can also note that the bike gets a sump guard on the bottom as well. As for the exhaust, it gets an upswept unit. The rear wheels are also spoked and get a single disc brake. It also features a single-piece seat with a lot of cushioning. Meanwhile, the rear end gets an LED taillight and a thin rear grab handle.
