Lately, many women have started showing interest in riding two-wheelers. We are not just talking about scooters but motorcycles and superbikes. There are videos of many women riders who have even done road trips on such expensive motorcycles. Recently, we came across a video where a social media influencer bought a Suzuki Hayabusa. Similarly, we now have another video where a popular woman Instagram influencer has bought a brand new Aprilia RS457 sports bike.
The video has been shared by Aakriti Rana on her Instagram page. She is the first Indian woman to own an Aprilia RS457 sports bike. The video shows the influencer, along with her brother, taking a cab to the dealership. She walks into the dealership and then finally unveils the bike.
Aakriti got herself a new RS457 sports bike. She has posted the video with a long caption where she is thanking her father and other family members for their support.
She wrote, “I GOT MY OWN SPORTS BIKEEEEEE!!! @aprilia RS457 I haven’t slept in the last 3-4 days, ever since I booked it. I am so excited! Hehe. Been dreaming about this for so long but just didn’t have the courage to get it. So grateful for the men in my family who built this confidence because of which I got it! ❤️I remember my dad teaching me how to ride a bike when I was just in 8th grade. In 11th standard, I went to buy a scooty to go to my school, and even then, my dad was pushing me to get a bike instead. I finally got over that little fear I had of sports bikes and got one for myself!”
She got the bike in a white and red shade, which looks extremely good and sporty. The wheels are finished in a red shade too. Her happiness and excitement are very evident in the video, and we hope she has a great experience with the bike.
The motorcycle was first launched in December last year, and the deliveries for the same commenced a few months after that. The RS457 borrows its design from its bigger sibling, the RS660. The RS457 is powered by a 457-cc parallel twin-cylinder engine that generates 47 Bhp and 48 Nm of peak torque. It is mated to a 6-speed gearbox.

The Aprilia RS457 gets a 41 mm USD fork at the front and a monoshock at the rear. Both are preload adjustable. The motorcycle gets a 320 mm disc at the front and a 220 mm disc at the rear.
The motorcycle comes with three riding modes, three levels of switchable traction control, dual-channel ABS, and many more features. The Aprilia RS457 competes with motorcycles like the KTM RC390 and Kawasaki Ninja 400 in the segment. An all-new Aprilia RS457 motorcycle would cost you around Rs 4.10 lakh, ex-showroom.
This is not the first time we have come across a social media post like this. Recently, another woman influencer who has an Instagram page with the name JK The Lioness posted a social media clip where she was seen taking delivery of her brand new Suzuki Hayabusa superbike worth Rs 18 lakh.
