Veteran Bollywood Actor Jackie Shroff And His Yamaha RD350: Rare Images
Jackie Shroff is one of those actors from Bollywood who is a car and bike enthusiast, but not many know about it. It is only recently that people started noticing this. The actor has a decent collection of luxury and vintage cars and bikes. One of the motorcycles in his collection is a Yamaha RD350. Images of the actor with his old RD350 have recently surfaced online. It is one of those motorcycles which we feel holds a special place in the heart of every motorcycle enthusiast.
The images have been shared by the Bombay RD350 Club on their Instagram page. In these pictures, we see the veteran actor with his well-maintained Yamaha RD350 motorcycle. One thing that we have noticed about Jackie Shroff is that he likes to maintain all his vehicles. Most of the bikes and cars that he owns are well-maintained and look pristine. The actor does look happy on his motorcycle. Not only does the bike look well-maintained, but it also has an autograph of the actor on its fuel tank.
This iconic motorcycle was unveiled back in 1973. The cost of this motorcycle when it was launched was around Rs 18,000. It was an instant hit in the market. Even today, if you go out to pick a well-maintained RD350 from the used bike market, you’ll have to spend twenty times more than the price of the original motorcycle. It is one of those motorcycles that has appreciated over the years.
Jackie Shroff has become vocal about his love for motorcycles on multiple occasions. In fact, the RD350 was the motorcycle that started his love for two-wheelers. Other than the RD350, Jackie Shroff also has a custom-built Royal Enfield motorcycle with a design inspired by the Ghost Rider’s motorcycle.
The Yamaha RD350 was sold in many markets, including India. When compared to other markets, we got the less powerful detuned versions. One of the major reasons why the engine on this motorcycle was detuned was to increase fuel efficiency. It was powered by a 347-cc, twin-cylinder, 2-stroke engine that was available in two states of tune. The High Torque version used to generate 30.5 Bhp, whereas the Low Torque variant used to generate 27 Bhp only.

BMW M5
Jackie Shroff owned this 4-door sports saloon in a shade of black. The F10 M5 is powered by a 4.4-litre V8 engine that generates a maximum of 553 Bhp and 678 Nm. It is not clear whether the actor still has this car in his garage or not.
Bentley Continental GT
This is another expensive car in Jackie Shroff’s garage. The Continental GT owned by Jackie Shroff was available with two engine options. There was a 4.0-litre V8 engine that produces a maximum power of 500 Bhp and 660 Nm. Then there is a higher-powered version of the same engine which produces a maximum of 521 Bhp and 680 Nm. Bentley also offered a 6.0-litre petrol engine that generated 567 Bhp – 700 Nm and 626 Bhp – 820 Nm depending on different variants.
Jaguar SS100
Another classic or vintage car in his garage is a 1939 model Jaguar SS100. The 3.5-litre engine on this car generates 125 Bhp. He also owned a Pontiac Firebird, but we are not sure if he still has this car in his collection or not.
Hummer H2
He owns a Hummer H2 SUV in black shade. It was once an extremely popular SUV among Bollywood celebs. It was powered by a 3.7-litre petrol engine. A 5.3-litre V8 engine option was also available.
Fiat 1100
Jackie also owns a 1968 model Fiat 1100 Elegant sedan. The actor has completely restored this car and is often spotted with it.
Jaguar XKR
This is another car in the actor’s garage. The Jaguar XKR is finished in British Racing Green shade with golden-colored alloy wheels. It is powered by a 5.0-litre supercharged V8 petrol engine that generates 510 Ps and 625 Nm of peak torque.
Other than this, he also owns a couple of mass market cars like the Isuzu V-Cross, Toyota Innova, and Fortuner in his garage.
