Kawasaki Superbikes Selling At Discounts Of Upto Rs. 1 Lakh: Details

Kawasaki has announced major discounts on its premium motorcycle range, offering benefits of up to ₹1 lakh for a limited period. This promotional campaign is valid until July 31, 2025, and applies to popular models such as the Ninja ZX-10R, the Versys adventure tourers, and middleweight sport bikes. It is part of the company’s effort to stay competitive in a segment that continues to grow in both size and importance.
At the top of the discount list is the Ninja ZX-10R, Kawasaki’s high-performance litre-class supersport. The motorcycle now carries a flat discount of ₹1 lakh, bringing its effective ex-showroom price down to ₹17.50 lakh from ₹18.50 lakh.
The ZX-10R is known for its track-bred credentials, with a 998cc inline-four engine that delivers 200 bhp and 114.9 Nm of torque. With a 6-speed gearbox and bi-directional quickshifter, this model appeals strongly to superbike enthusiasts.
Apart from raw performance, the ZX-10R is packed with tech features like launch control, cruise control, traction control, engine brake control, and a full-colour TFT screen with smartphone connectivity.
Kawasaki’s popular Versys adventure tourer range also benefits from this limited-time discount offer. The top-spec Versys 1100, now eligible for a ₹1 lakh discount, sees its effective price drop from ₹12.90 lakh to ₹11.90 lakh. The bike comes with a 1,099cc engine producing 133 bhp and 112 Nm of torque and is aimed at serious tourers seeking comfort and power in a single package.
The Versys 650, a middleweight adventure tourer with a strong following in India, gets a ₹25,000 price cut. The new price of ₹7.52 lakh makes it more accessible to riders looking to step up from entry-level models. With its 649cc parallel-twin engine, the Versys 650 is known for its long-distance comfort, offering features like LED lighting, traction control, a TFT screen, and USB charging.
Even the smallest in the lineup, the Versys-X 300, joins the discount list. While there is no direct price reduction, Kawasaki is offering accessories worth ₹15,000 with this model. Powered by a 296cc twin-cylinder engine producing 38.5 bhp, the bike is aimed at newer riders entering the adventure touring segment.
The timing of this discount campaign is not accidental. Premium motorcycles have been gaining ground over the past few years, growing from a 14 percent market share in FY2019 to nearly 19 percent in FY2025. This increase comes even as the overall motorcycle market faced a decline in volumes. Buyers today are showing a strong preference for performance-oriented machines that align with their lifestyle rather than just commuting needs.
To sweeten the deal further, Kawasaki is offering low down payment options as part of the campaign. This makes high-end motorcycles more accessible to a wider range of customers without compromising the premium appeal.
Among the different premium motorcycle categories, the adventure touring segment stands out for its strong recent growth. These bikes appeal to customers looking for a machine that can handle both city commutes and weekend getaways.
Kawasaki’s Versys range caters to this exact demand, offering options across engine capacities, from 300cc to over 1,000cc.
With increasing urbanisation and rising disposable incomes, the adventure touring space is poised for even more growth. Kawasaki’s aggressive pricing on the Versys range positions the brand favourably against rising competition from rivals like BMW, Triumph, and Honda.
The current offer also comes on the heels of successful recent product launches. The Z900, one of Kawasaki’s most popular naked sport bikes, was relaunched in 2025 at ₹9.52 lakh. It has consistently posted strong sales, with April 2025 seeing 102 units sold, a jump from 44 units in March.
Similarly, the Versys 1100 also saw a sales uptick during this period. The aggressive discounting could help Kawasaki clear out existing stock, especially ahead of potential model year updates. The company appears to be balancing inventory management with market stimulation, aiming to maintain showroom activity during a typically slow season.
By offering sizeable discounts on its top-end and mid-range models, Kawasaki is making its lineup more attractive without compromising its premium brand image. For buyers on the fence about stepping into the big-bike segment, now might be the best time to act.
