KTM 390 Adventure X Plus With Cruise Control: Ownership Review On Video
Earlier in February of this year, the Austrian motorcycle manufacturer KTM launched the 390 Adventure X in India. This particular model is a more affordable version of the 390 Adventure series. Recently, a video review of this motorcycle by its owner has been shared online. He explains why he bought this vehicle and gives his honest opinions on it.

This video of the KTM 390 Adventure X owner review has been shared on YouTube by Bulu Pattnaik on their channel. It starts off with the host mentioning that this particular bike — the KTM 390 Adventure X — now comes with a feature which is extremely appreciated by riders, and it is the cruise control feature. He highlights that he recently went on a ride and used this feature, and it works like a charm.
Following this, he mentions that earlier this bike was priced at Rs 2.91 lakh. However, it has now been priced at Rs 3.03 lakh (ex-showroom). After this, he mentions that the 390 Adventure X comes equipped with 17-inch rear and 19-inch alloy wheels. He highlights that this is one of the best setups for adventure riding.
After the brief introduction of the KTM 390 Adventure X, he introduces the owner of this motorcycle and starts asking him questions regarding his purchase. The first thing he asks is about the alternatives which the owner had looked at before buying this motorcycle.
The owner replies that he had two other bikes which he looked at. The first one was the Scrambler, and the other was the Royal Enfield Himalayan 450. He added that although the Scrambler had a more refined engine, he did not connect with it. Secondly, the Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 also did not suit him. He added that he then test-drove the old 390 Adventure of his friend and instantly connected with it.
Moving on, the host then started describing to the owner that he has made an excellent choice with this motorcycle. He mentioned that this particular bike is very affordable to maintain and offers solid performance. The vlogger stated that he recently went on a bike ride with bigger bikes like the Kawasaki Z900, BMW 850 GS, and others, and one of the bikes was a KTM 390 Adventure.
He highlighted that despite the smaller displacement, the KTM was able to keep up with much more powerful bikes. The vlogger also highlighted that the new Adventure X, with its fixed suspension, has been tuned for highway cruising and light off-roading, and it does the job perfectly.
Also, the vlogger mentions that this bike comes equipped with features such as a 5-inch H50 color TFT screen, Cornering ABS, Motorcycle Traction Control (MTC), multiple ride modes including Street, Rain, and Off-road. It also gets Supermoto mode, which is for aggressive riding and off-road capabilities.
The new KTM 390 Adventure X comes powered by a 399cc, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine. It is capable of producing 44 bhp and 39 Nm of torque, and it comes mated to a 6-speed gearbox. It also gets a slip-and-assist clutch and a bi-directional quick-shifter.
