Bollywood Actor Kunal Kemmu: Was Crying After Riding A Ducati For 20 Minutes [Video]
Many people believe that Bollywood celebrities only drive around in luxury cars from automakers like Audi, BMW, Mercedes-Benz, or Range Rover. However, there are a number of actors who are genuine motorcycle enthusiasts. Of these, one of the popular ones is Kunal Khemu. The actor, during a podcast recently, revealed how he loves motorcycles and which bikes he owns. He also revealed why he does not like hypersport superbikes and why he was crying for 20 minutes while riding a Ducati Panigale V4.
Kunal Khemu Shares His Ducati Experience
The video of Kunal Khemu sharing his Ducati riding experience has been shared on Instagram by Chalchitra Talks on their page. During a podcast in which Kunal Khemu was invited, he was asked about his love for motorcycles. He also talked about the bikes he owns. However, following this, he revealed that he once cried for 20 minutes while riding a Ducati Panigale V4 superbike.
He explained that superbikes and hypersport bikes look extremely cool while being parked. However, riding them is quite difficult. Khemu explained that when Ducati first launched the Panigale V4 superbike in India, he was given a bike for a test ride. However, when he took the bike for a ride in Mumbai, during the 20 minutes he was riding it, he stated that he was crying inside the helmet.
The Bollywood movie star highlighted that such bikes have a different discipline of riding. They require the rider to control the bikes with their legs and thighs, while the handlebar is just used to flick it. Also, he mentioned that these bikes are meant for race tracks, where they can be ridden at high speeds. Khemu added that they are not designed to sit in traffic jams.
For those who may not be aware, superbikes like the Ducati Panigale V4 and others have massive engines. Now, even though they are liquid-cooled engines, they require a lot of air to be passed through their radiators in order to keep them cool. However, when they are stopped in traffic jams, their radiator fans have to work overtime.
As a result of this, they blow a lot of hot air, which is very discomforting for the rider stopped in a traffic jam. Additionally, the riding stance of these bikes is also not very comfortable. So, for these reasons, Kunal Khemu, in the podcast, highlighted that he never bought such a superbike. Instead, he highlighted that he is most comfortable with naked streetfighter motorcycles and adventure motorcycles.
Kunal Khemu’s Bike Collection
In the same podcast, Kunal Khemu also talked about his bike collection. He highlighted that he currently owns three bikes. Of these, the first is his KTM, which he uses for daily riding. Then, he mentioned that his favorite bike is a BMW R 1250 GS adventure motorcycle. The actor stated that it is his most favorite bike, and he loves riding it.
Next up, he talks about his third bike, which he took from his brother-in-law and popular Bollywood actor Saif Ali Khan. He explained that Saif Ali Khan was gifted an MV Agusta Brutale. However, he does not ride it. So, Khemu brought it home and fixed it, and it now sits in his garage as a talking piece. He highlighted that he also rarely rides it due to its uncomfortable riding stance.
