If you are planning to buy an electric scooter this month, there’s good news! The space currently has a handful of players- Ather, Ola, TVS, Bajaj Chetak and Hero Vida. This festive season, most of these EV scooters are available with attractive offers and discounts. Let’s take a look at the details.

Ola Electric

Aiming for the Navratri and Diwali seasons, Ola Electric has rolled out interesting offers and discounts on the Ola S1 X range. Available from October 3, 2024, these offers bring the price of the S1 X range down to Rs 49,999, from the previous 74,999 mark. This is indeed an unmissable deal. Existing Ola owners and the community will have early access to these offers.

In addition to the hefty cuts on the S1 X range, the entire S1 range is offered with Rs 10,000 discounts and additional benefits worth Rs. 21,000. These include the following:

  • Exchange Bonus of up to Rs.5,000
  • 140+ MoveOS features worth up to Rs. 6,000
  • 8-year battery warranty worth Rs. 7,000
  • Hyper-charging credits worth Rs. 3,000

Existing Ola community members get to enjoy additional benefits:

  • Rs. 3,000 per referral
  • Rs. 2,000 off on S1 for referee and,
  • Top 100 referring community members get rewards of up to Rs. 11,11,111.

TVS iQube

This October, TVS Motor Company is offering cashback and discounts of up to Rs 20,000 on select variants of the iQube electric scooter. Valid till the end of this month, these vary from state to state. The 2.2 kWh, 3.4 kWh, and S 3.4 kWh iterations of the iQube qualify for these benefits.

The 2.2 kWh version is offered with cuts of up to ₹17,300, while the 3.4 kWh version comes with discounts of up to ₹20,000. The iQube S 3.4 kWh doesn’t get any direct discounts or deals. However, it gets a free extended warranty of 5 years or 70,000 km, worth ₹5,999. The iQube ST 3.4kWh and ST 5.1kWh are exempted from getting any discounts.

Ather

Ather Energy has announced special festive offers on the 450X and 450X Apex. Primarily targeted at boosting sales and providing better value to the buyer, these have a combined worth of Rs 25,000. As part of the offer, the manufacturer is offering an extended battery warranty of eight years. There is also a 1 year of complimentary charging being provided, via Ather Grid- charging worth Rs 5,000. Select credit and debit cards can also get you cash-cuts of up to 10,000.

Ather 450X range is offered with two battery options- 2.9 kWh and 3.7 kWh. The smaller pack is claimed to deliver IDC range of 111 km, while that of the larger pack is 150 km. The 450 Apex is the most powerful of the lot and offers an IDC range of 157 km.

Bajaj Chetak

Bajaj is offering up to Rs 20,000 on the Chetak electric scooter, only in Tamil Nadu and Karnataka. The revision brings down the price to 1.15 lakh from the previous 1.45 lakh tag. These will be valid till stocks last. The scooter is also available on Amazon, with special offers for customers from Bangalore and Chennai.

Hero Vida

The Vida electric scooter range from Hero is often cited as an expensive product in the category. The Vida V1 gets two variants- V1 Plus and V1 Pro. These are both available on major e-commerce platforms like Amazon. Even though the manufacturer has announced no direct discounts for the festive season, up to 28,000 can be saved on online purchases with full payment. For EMI payments, the maximum savings is up to 29,000.

Much like the EV space, the electric scooter market has also witnessed a slowdown in recent months. These new festive season offers are expected to bring back momentum and drive more sales.
