Bike riding is one thing which, if a person once gets addicted to, no matter how old they are, they continue it. Recently, a video has been shared online in which an old gentleman, who is a professional mechanic and a classic bike restoration shop owner from Mumbai, was seen riding the iconic Yamaha RX-100 in an aggressive manner. This man was performing wheelies and 360s with this bike like it was a toy.

This video of the old gentleman riding the Yamaha RX-100 like a toy has been shared on Instagram by Sattar Pilot on their page. As mentioned above, he is the owner of a shop on Mumbai’s Grant Road. His shop is well known for the restoration of legendary motorcycles that once ruled the streets of India but are now rotting away.

The video clip starts with the old man popping up a wheelie on this lightweight motorcycle. This first wheelie was very high, and after this, he did a few small wheelies. However, the third wheelie he did was again very high. Soon after this, the video shows the rear of this motorcycle power sliding on the road with small wheelies.

Following this, the old gentleman shocked people passing by by performing 360-degree turns with the help of the power of the iconic Yamaha RX-100. He then went ahead and took a U-turn on the busy road and then rode the bike at high speed. Now, although this was a perfect demonstration of reckless riding on public roads, it can be noted that despite his age, the old man was able to control this motorcycle with perfection.

Yamaha RD350 Power Sliding

This is not the first time that the old gentleman has shared a video of him riding classic motorcycles aggressively. Prior to this video, he shared a video of him power sliding a fully restored Yamaha RD-350 motorcycle. In this clip, the rider was seen accelerating on the road on this super expensive and rare vintage motorcycle, which was recently restored.

For those who may not be aware of the Yamaha RX-100 and RD-350, they both are two of the most legendary bikes to be offered by the Japanese motorcycle brand in India. The RX-100 was launched in India back in 1985 and was on sale in the country till 1996. However, it was then axed due to stricter emission norms.

This lightweight and extremely agile motorcycle made a special place in the hearts of enthusiasts because of its super quick and responsive 98cc, two-stroke, single-cylinder, air-cooled engine. This motor was capable of producing 11 bhp of power and 10.39 Nm of torque. It came mated to a 4-speed transmission and could reach a top speed of 100 kmph.

The other renowned motorcycle from Yamaha was the RD-350. It was known for its sheer raw power and the thrill that it provided on the road. This bike came powered by a 347cc, 2-stroke, twin-cylinder, air-cooled engine. The company offered two variants in India, which were HT (High Torque) and LT (Low Torque).

The former made 30.5 bhp, and the latter made 27 bhp. As for the torque, they made 32 Nm, and transmission duties were handled by a 6-speed gearbox. The RD-350 reached a top speed of 140-160 kmph, depending on the variant.
