Ola Electric Scooters Get Massive 40,000 Rupee Discounts: Akshaya Tritiya Offer

Akshaya Tritiya is considered a highly auspicious occasion for purchasing high-value goods like Gold and vehicles. Ola Electric is set to capitalise on the same, and has announced benefits of up to 40,000 on the entire S1 range of electric scooters. The EV maker has announced a special festive sale, scheduled to last 72 hours (3 days), starting from April 28, 2025.
Called the 72-Hour Electric Rush, the festivesale would offer major discounts and benefits on the S1 range. These will apply to both the Gen-2 and Gen-3 models. The Gen 2 scooter series now starts at Rs 67,499, while the Gen 3 range has a starting price of Rs 73,999. These, if you see, are significantly lower than the respective 'regular' ex-showroom prices. If these fail to impress you, OLA also has a free extended warranty on offer.
Furthermore, the manufacturer's HyperDelivery program is already live in select cities, promising same-day delivery of fully registered OLA scooters, mostly within hours of purchase! Let us now take a closer look at the S1 series and their prices:
The OLA S1 X comes in three battery options- 2 kWh, 3 kWh and 4 kWh. These have ex-showroom prices of Rs 67,499, Rs 83,999 and Rs 90,999 respectively. The more powerful S1 Pro now starts at 1.1 lakh rupees.
The Gen 3 range of scooters has a starting price of 1.48 lakh (S1 Pro+ 4kWh). The Pro+ with 5.3kWh battery would cost you 1.88 lakh rupees. The 3 kWh and 4 kWh versions of the S1 Pro scooter have ex-showroom prices of 1.12 lakh and 1.29 lakh respectively. On the more affordable side, the third-generation S1 X now has a price of Rs 73,999.
These prices are available for three days only and add more value to these electric scooters. Customers can place their orders online or through any Ola Electric Store.
The manufacturer is expected to start commencing deliveries of the much awaited Roadster X electric motorcycle soon. Dealer dispatches have already begun. The Roadster will initially be available with three different battery packs- 2.5kWh, 3.5kWh, and 4.5kWh. There will be two distinct trims on sale- Roadster X and X+. The flagship X+ will have a large 9.1 kWh battery pack!
The Roadster series will use OLA's indigenously developed 4680 cells. These are claimed to have high energy densities and would thus offer better packaging efficiencies. CEO Bhavish Aggarwal recently shared a picture of the Roadster's battery pack on X (previously Twitter) with a caption that reads 'The shape of the revolution'. This shows that the company has high hopes on the battery tech.
Additionally, the Roadster will also use flat cables (which are expected to bring about significant weight savings) and an advanced Motor Control Unit (MCU). It will have a chain drive system as well. The feature list on the Roadster X will include the likes of brake-by-wire technology, single-channel ABS, MoveOS 5, cruise control, reverse mode, and advanced energy recuperation tech.
Ola Electric's current lineup is often noted for its features and tech on offer. The scooter range comes with smart features and functions like keyless entry, navigation assistance, and vehicle diagnostics. The list will only expand with the products in the pipeline.
