As the launch date of 15th August is approaching, new teasers of Ola Electric’s upcoming EV bike are being shared. In the most recent post, Bhavish Aggarwal, CEO of Ola Electric, was seen test-riding the company’s first electric motorcycle. He previously shared a short clip of himself test-riding the same motorcycle. This also comes soon after the company’s IPO hit the upper circuit, reaching a share price of Rs 91.2 after getting listed on both NSE and BSE.
Bhavish Aggarwal’s Test Ride
The image of Ola Electric’s first motorcycle has been shared on X by Bhavish Aggarwal. In this image, the Ola Electric CEO can be seen wearing sandals and sitting on the almost-completed electric motorcycle from the brand. He highlighted that the company’s marketing department has carefully blurred the image to keep the motorcycle’s final design under wraps.
Apart from this particular teaser picture, just a few days ago, Bhavish also shared a very short clip of himself riding the same bike. This particular clip was shot at night from the front, so not much was visible. However, it was noted from the video and this new picture that the bike is almost fully ready for the launch.

Apart from these snippets shared by Bhavish Aggarwal, Ola Electric’s official channel has also been sharing teasers and pictures of this upcoming electric bike. Recently, the company revealed the front fascia of the motorcycle, showcasing a sleek design.
The bike features a distinctive twin LED headlamp unit, accompanied by an LED DRL strip positioned above the lights. This headlamp design, while unique, bears a resemblance to the one found on the Ola S1 electric scooter range.
The company also teased the motorcycle’s wide, one-piece handlebar and aggressive-looking tank extensions. These extensions will most likely house the LED turn indicators as well. Additionally, Ola Electric has provided glimpses of the seat and taillight design.
Upcoming Ola Electric Motorcycle: What We Know So Far
Coming to the details about the upcoming electric motorcycle from Ola that we know so far, the most talked-about feature of this bike is its battery. Ola has confirmed that the motorcycle will be equipped with the largest battery in its segment. It has added that it will be developed in-house at Ola’s new facility dedicated to producing battery cells for its electric two-wheelers.
The motorcycle will also feature a right-side-up telescopic front fork, and a chain drive has also been confirmed. In terms of technology, the motorcycle is expected to include advanced features such as a touchscreen display and electronic ABS.
Other Ola Electric Bikes
Apart from this first electric bike, last year, Ola Electric unveiled three more concept variants of its electric motorcycles: the Adventure, Cruiser, and DiamondHead. The Adventure will be the largest motorcycle, which will be launched for off-road enthusiasts, while the Cruiser will be for long-ride lovers. Lastly, the DiamondHead will be the most unique offering from the brand, which looks inspired by the Tesla Cybertruck. The exact timeline for the launches of these models have not been shared online.
