Just a few days ago, a video went viral online from Jamshedpur where angry and frustrated Ola Electric scooter owners bashed the founder, Bhavish Aggarwal, for pathetic after-sales support. Now once again, another case of similar service neglect has been shared from Goa. In this particular post, the owner of an Ola Electric scooter has complained that his faulty scooter has been standing at the service centre for months, and there is no staff to give updates. The entire service centre is closed, with dozens of scooters abandoned.

Ola Electric Goa service centre with hundreds of abandoned scooters

These videos and images showing the poor state of Ola Electric scooters at its service centre in Goa have been shared on Instagram by Mr_Cool_5999 on their page. It starts off with the view of the Ola Electric S1 Pro and X scooters scattered in the open under trees. It appears that this location is near the service centre, but it is not the actual service centre premises.

There is a dilapidated home in the back, and the scooters have been left in the open during rain. Another clip shared in the same post shows that there are even more Ola Electric scooters parked in front of the closed service centre. The shutter on the left side was closed, and the glass doors were also locked. It can be seen that there are more electric scooters parked inside the building.

In addition to these clips, there is another short clip which shows the underground service centre. We can observe that there are around 30–40 more Ola Electric scooters that have been left abandoned. A number of them have their panels opened, and there are tools on the ground. There are abandoned scooters on the side of the service centre as well.

What did the owner say?

According to the owner of the Ola Electric S1 Pro who shared this post, this particular service centre is located in Valpoi, Goa. He highlighted that his scooter has been stuck at this place for months and there have been no updates. The owner added that there is no staff at the service centre and that his and many others’ scooters have been left neglected.

He stated, “My Ola S1 Pro is lying among dozens of neglected scooters at Ola Service Centre, Valpoi Goa 403506. The centre is closed, no staff, no updates for months. Vehicles are dumped in open rain, risking damage. OlaElectric this is unacceptable!”

A number of netizens in the same post stated that they have also been regretting their decision to buy an Ola Electric scooter. One of the users commented, “Mine is there for two months now n m pregnant n I travel 2 times from South Goa Margao to Valpoi. Let's do one thing, let's go together, everybody who is facing this issue.”

Meanwhile, another user added, “I own an Ola, and that's the biggest mistake I've made in my life. Trust me, I have made other mistakes, but this is the biggest one. I already owned an iQube, and it is amazing. I have Ola Care+, and the ticket I raised has been open for 1 year now. I filed the ticket when my wife suffered a brain stroke a year ago. She's almost recovered, but these guys are yet to pick my scooter.”

Similar situation across other parts of India

As mentioned above, recently another similar video was shared from Jamshedpur, Jharkhand. In this particular video, a number of frustrated customers were seen talking about their pathetic experience with Ola Electric scooters and their poor after-sales service. They said that Bhavish Aggarwal is a loudmouth and should first focus on service before setting up the biggest two-wheeler factory.
