Ola RoadsterX Electric Motorcycle Begins Arriving At Dealerships, Deliveries Imminent: Images

The Indian electric two-wheeler giant, Ola Electric, recently launched its first-ever electric motorcycle, the Ola Roadster, in India. Also, just a few days ago, Bhavish Aggarwal, the CEO of Ola Electric and founder of Ola Cabs, shared a video and a few images of him rolling out the first Roadster off the assembly line. Now, a few images showing the newly launched Ola Roadster X at an Ola Electric dealership have been shared online.
These images, showing the new Ola Roadster electric motorcycle at the dealership, have been shared on X by Gowtham Seenu on their page. In these images, the Ola Roadster, finished in Anthracite color, can be seen parked on a pedestal inside an Ola Electric dealership. These images suggest that the company will soon be commencing the deliveries of this electric bike.
As mentioned, the Roadster X is the first-ever electric motorcycle from the brand. This model was in development for a while, and it was finally launched on February 5 this year. At the launch event, Ola Electric CEO Bhavish Aggarwal announced that the Roadster starts at Rs 89,999 for the 2.5 kWh variant, Rs 99,999 for the 3.5 kWh variant, and Rs 1,09,999 for the 4.5 kWh variant.
In terms of design, this commuter electric motorcycle, which has been designed to please the mass market buyers, boasts a unique design. This slim-appearing bike gets futuristic styling and boasts a naked streetfighter design. The bike also gets a sleek LED headlight and a thin DRL. Apart from these, its handlebar has been placed ergonomically, and it gets a single-piece seat along with a chunky grab handle in the rear.
In terms of features, the Ola Roadster comes with a decent number of features. These include a 4.3-inch LCD segmented display, advanced regen cruise control, TPMS, MoveOS 5, single-channel ABS, brake-by-wire, and a reverse feature. It will also offer OTA updates, GPS connectivity, predictive maintenance, and vacation mode.
Powering the Ola Electric Roadster X is a 7 kW peak power motor, which can take it to a top speed of 118 kmph. The Roadster X can do a sprint of 0–40 kmph in just 3.1 seconds, and its range is 252 km IDC-certified. There are three battery pack options as well, including 2.5 kWh, 3.5 kWh, and 4.5 kWh.
In addition to the standard Roadster model, Ola Electric has also launched the Roadster X+ variant as well. The main highlight of this model is that it features a more powerful 11 kW electric motor, which can take it from 0–40 kmph in just 2.7 seconds. Also, this bike gets brake-by-wire and single-channel ABS.
The Roadster X+ also comes with a larger 9.1 kWh battery pack, which offers it a range of 501 km on a single full charge. As for the pricing of this model, it has been launched at Rs 1.69 lakh. In the coming months, Ola will also be launching more motorcycles in India, which will compete in segments like cruiser, café racer, and adventure.
