Police Officers Caught 'Enjoying' Illegal Bike Stunts On Public Roads [Video]

Like all the other places in the world, stunting is illegal in India as well. So generally, when the police authorities spot people stunting on public roads, they immediately stop these people and take action against them. However, there are a few rare moments, like the one we recently came across, when police officers were seen enjoying the spectacle of stunts being performed by a few young bikers. The video of this unique sight has gone viral on the internet.
The video of the police officers enjoying stunts being performed on the road has been shared on Instagram by Lost In Own on their page. This short clip starts with two Bajaj Pulsar NS200 riders performing stoppies right next to each other on a road on the side of a flyover. Both of them were riding very close to each other, and they performed a well-synchronized stoppie.
Soon after this, another Pulsar NS200 rider starts to perform a wheelie. During this, the caption in the video states, “Cops don’t like stunts.” What happens next is that the cameraman zooms towards the flyover, on which a Mahindra Scorpio police interceptor vehicle was parked. Alongside the car, there were two police officers who were looking at these stunters. Both of these police officials were smiling at the stunt riders.
A number of netizens in the comments section of this post have highlighted that even police officers are enjoying these stunts. They added that, generally, when stunts are performed in a place where there is no traffic and the riders do not disturb the peace of other people, police officials do not take strict action against them.
Although stunting is illegal in India on public roads, as these young bikers were doing, there are still ways in which people can legally perform stunts. When stunts are performed on private properties, race tracks, or designated stunt arenas, police authorities cannot arrest or take action against the riders. Additionally, stunts can be legally performed after taking permission from the authorities if they are part of a movie, advertisement, or event.
Lastly, organizations like the Federation of Motor Sports Clubs of India organize special events where they let people perform stunts under expert supervision. It has to be noted that for all the places where stunts can be legally performed, safety gear is a must, which includes a proper helmet, riding gear like gloves, shoes, guards, and a jacket.
If you are someone who has always dreamed of becoming a professional stunt rider, you must start by mastering basic motorcycle control and gradually learning advanced techniques. However, you have to do this under the supervision of an expert and in a safe environment, such as a private track or stunt academy.
Following this, you can participate in competitions and stunt shows to gain more exposure and recognition. The only way to master stunting is to use proper safety gear, be disciplined, and practice continuously. Additionally, aspiring riders can take guidance from experienced stunt professionals and join motorsport organizations that offer training programs and stunt riding events.
