KTM Rider Overtakes Truck On Narrow Bridge: Miraculously Survives Getting Hit By A Bus [Video]
Some bike riders, no matter how many incidents they hear about, still ride in the same manner that almost costs them their lives. They always try to find gaps that will not help them in overtaking. However, they still enter these gaps, and the result becomes a huge accident. Once again, we have another video in which one such risky rider nearly saw his demise on a narrow bridge in Kerala. Thankfully, this was his lucky day as he escaped even after his bike came under the tire of a bus.
KTM Rider Comes Under Bus
This video of the reckless bike rider coming under a bus has been shared on X. It comes courtesy of Drive Smart. In this short clip, we can note that there is a narrow bridge with just two lanes. On the left lane, we can note that there was a pickup truck. It can also be observed that from the opposite direction, a bus was coming as well.
After this, we see that a KTM RC sports bike rider overtakes the truck, in which this dashcam was installed, capturing the entire accident. What happens is that the KTM rider was overspeeding and, because of his overconfidence, thought he would be able to overtake the pickup truck as well.
However, to his surprise, he notices the bus coming from the opposite lane. In his attempt to avoid a head-on collision with the bus, he applies the brakes of his bike. But due to the very small space available, he could not control his bike and eventually crashes with the bus.

The video then shows that after being unable to control his bike, he slides on the road, and his bike comes under the wheel of the bus. What can also be noted is that after coming under the bus, he gets thrown away in front of the pickup truck while his bike causes the bus to stop.

Thankfully, it can be noted in the video that this reckless bike rider did not die by getting crushed. However, had the bus driver or the pickup driver not braked in time, it could have been his last day on earth. This accident should serve as a reminder to those bike riders who like to overtake other vehicles on the road even when there is no gap.
Never Overtake on Narrow Roads
From this video, the main lesson that everyone can understand is that no one should attempt to overtake on a narrow road. As can be seen in the video, the road was extremely narrow, yet the rider still attempted to perform an overtake. This is not something anyone should attempt.
What was even more reckless about this rider was that he wanted to overtake not one but two vehicles at the same time. Additionally, he did not care that he was about to make this risky overtake on a bridge. Hence, the result was something that he’ll never forget.
