Bikers on Indian roads often ride fast and recklessly. We have come across several incidents in the past where such irresponsible behavior has caused accidents on the road. Most people who drive on our roads are impatient, which is another reason behind many accidents. Here, we have a video that shows how a Hero XPulse rider caused a crash that ended up injuring seven people.

The video has been shared by Oggy F on his YouTube channel. It was recorded using a camera installed on a helmet. The rider was waiting for his turn at the signal. We can see other two-wheeler riders waiting at the signal too. The exact location is not known, but it looks like this happened somewhere in Maharashtra.

When the signal turned green, all the riders slowly started moving. The rider with the helmet cam also started moving. Just seconds after crossing the signal, we see a Hero XPulse biker overtake a car from the rightmost lane and immediately go around a bike in front. It looked like the XPulse was being ridden at high speed. Immediately after overtaking one bike from the left, he spotted a scooter in front. The XPulse rider couldn’t slow down in time and crashed into the scooter.

The scooter had a rider and a pillion on it. The XPulse also had two people on it. The XPulse crashed into the rear of the scooter, and both of them fell on the road. The pillion of the XPulse was thrown off the bike and crashed into another scooter. The second scooter rider also lost control and fell on the road.

While the rider and pillion of the first scooter were rolling on the road, their scooter went ahead and crashed into a pedestrian. The video shows the whole incident in slow motion to help us understand what actually went wrong. The biker who was recording the video stopped and went to help the fallen.

Other people on the road also gathered to pick up the bikes and assist the injured. We see that some of these riders and pillions were not wearing helmets. They were lucky to have escaped the crash without major injuries. A helmet is an absolute must while riding a two-wheeler. It protects you from serious head injuries.

Who’s at Fault?

In this case, the Hero XPulse rider is at fault. He should have been a lot more patient and responsible on the road to avoid this accident. If he had not been riding too fast, he would have had enough time to overtake properly and avoid crashing into the scooter in front. The rider was probably not expecting a scooter immediately after overtaking.

Most of the vehicles were moving slowly as they had just crossed a traffic signal. The Hero XPulse rider not only put his own life at risk but also the lives of five other innocent road users. At the end of the video, we can hear a local man say that they were all lucky to have escaped the crash without major injuries. We are not sure if the police were later called to report this crash or if they settled the matter among themselves.
