Royal Enfield has launched its all-new middleweight scrambler motorcycle, the Bear 650. This new motorcycle has been launched with a price tag of Rs 3.39 lakh. First off, let’s talk about the latest launch from Royal Enfield. The new Bear 650, as stated, is based on the Interceptor 650; however, it gets a ton of changes that make it a lot more off-road capable.

At the front, the new Bear gets LED headlights and new, sleeker-looking LED turn indicators. Apart from this, the Royal Enfield Bear also gets a handlebar with a brace for added stability and strength for off-roading.

The company is also offering the Bear with a revised seat and slightly altered rear section. Overall, it looks a lot more modern than the aging Interceptor 650. It also gets a single-pod TFT console that supports smartphone compatibility and navigation.

Buyers of the new Bear will be able to choose from an array of five colors. These will be Broadwalk White, Petrol Green, White Honey, Golden Shadow, and Two Four Nine.

Coming to the mechanical side of things, the Bear 650 comes equipped with the same 650cc parallel-twin engine, which we all love. It makes a maximum power of 47 bhp, and torque is rated at 57 Nm, which is an increase of 5 Nm over the Interceptor. Additionally, it comes mated to a six-speed gearbox.

Suspension duties on the Royal Enfield Bear will be handled by long-travel USD front forks at the front. Meanwhile, on the rear end, the Bear gets conventional rear springs.

As for braking, single disc brakes at the front and rear, with dual-channel ABS, will be sufficient to stop this scrambler. Also, it rides on 19-inch front and 17-inch rear spoked wheels with MRF Nylorex tires.

As a surprise, at the EICMA show held in Milan, Italy, the Chennai-based automaker has also showcased the brand-new Classic 650 motorcycle. This super cruiser, which will be based on the Super Meteor 650 and Shotgun 650, offers the best of both worlds.

It now gets a massive and powerful motor along with the looks of the Classic 350, which helped Royal Enfield achieve the success that it is seeing today. It gets the same classic round headlamp with a beak-like extension. It also gets tiger lamps, a teardrop-shaped fuel tank, a round front fender, twin exhaust pipes, and a wider rear fender.

On the instrument panel, the new Classic 650 gets a semi-digital console with Tripper navigation, similar to the Classic 350 that we currently have. Other features include a USB charging port, full-LED lighting, adjustable levers, and dual-channel ABS.
