Royal Enfield Himalayan 750 Spotted Testing Again: Unveil At EICMA 2025

The Chennai-based bike maker Royal Enfield is gearing up for the launch of its most premium adventure motorcycle, the Himalayan 750. It will be the brand's first-ever twin-cylinder adventure tourer and will be unveiled at EICMA 2025 in November. Most recently, another test mule of the Himalayan 750 was spotted testing in Tamil Nadu. Here is a video showing this adventure motorcycle on public roads.
The video of the latest test mule of the upcoming Royal Enfield Himalayan 750 has been shared on YouTube by Shalsvlogs on their channel. In this short clip, we can note that a fully covered test mule of the Himalayan 750 was tested on a road with a few uneven patches. The rear portion of the vehicle was uncovered, which revealed a few key details.
The soon-to-be-launched Himalayan 750 will be based on a reworked 650-twin chassis, which has now been adapted for adventure riding needs. It will feature a tubular steel frame with altered geometry for improved riding stability and higher ground clearance. The subframe will be a bolt-on unit, making it easier to repair.
In terms of design, the Himalayan 750 does not borrow any of its design elements from the more affordable Himalayan 450. The Himalayan 750 will be offered with a half fairing and tubular guards on the sides to keep it protected from unfortunate falls and other obstacles faced during off-road adventures. It will also get a round LED headlight with a circular LED DRL.
Like most adventure motorcycles, it will also get a large windscreen, new trapezoidal wing mirrors, and a tall and wide handlebar offering an upright riding stance. There will also be a split-seat setup. At the rear, it will get a sturdy grab rail, and there will be luggage mounts as well.
As for the electronics and features, the Himalayan 750 will be offered with a full TFT digital display, which will be larger than the one seen on the Himalayan 450. Royal Enfield will also offer it with smartphone connectivity features. Other notable highlights will include three different ride modes, traction control, cruise control, ABS with different modes, and a USB Type-C charging port.
Now, coming to the main highlight of the upcoming Himalayan 750, this bike will be offered with a newly developed 750cc parallel-twin air-oil-cooled engine. The base of this engine is an upgraded version of the 650cc twin engine currently offered on the Interceptor 650, Continental GT 650, Super Meteor, Classic 650, and the Shotgun/Bear.
This new 750cc engine is expected to offer a maximum power output of 50–55 bhp and a torque output of 60 Nm. Currently, the 650cc twin engine makes 47 bhp and 56.5 Nm of torque. We can expect a 6-speed gearbox with a slip-and-assist clutch. The test mule was also seen with an upswept exhaust.
Suspension duties on this adventure motorcycle will be taken care of by upside-down forks at the front and a monoshock at the rear. In terms of braking, the front will feature a dual-disc setup, which will be a first for Royal Enfield. As for the rear, it will get a single disc brake and dual-channel ABS as standard.
As mentioned, the unveiling of the Himalayan 750 will take place at EICMA 2025, which will be held next month. The India launch is expected to take place in March 2026. Pricing is expected to be in the range of Rs 4–4.5 lakh.
