Royal Enfield has launched a new special edition of the Meteor 350 cruiser with factory fitted touring equipment and a sunset themed paint scheme. Called the Meteor 350 Sundowner Orange, it was unveiled at Motoverse 2025 in Goa and is priced at Rs 2.19 lakh ex showroom. The added equipment is supplied from the factory rather than as optional accessories.

The Sundowner Orange sits at the top of the Meteor 350 range, above the Fireball, Stellar, Aurora and Supernova trims. After recent price revisions, the base Fireball variant now starts from Rs 1.95 lakh ex showroom. The Sundowner Orange is based on the top spec Supernova trim and carries over its equipment, then adds more touring focused hardware.

The paint scheme uses warm orange with beige accents, aiming for a sunset inspired look. Like the Aurora and Supernova variants, it gets plenty of chrome on elements such as the exhaust and mirrors to maintain the retro cruiser appeal.

Touring Kit Fitted From The Factory

The key talking point of the Sundowner Orange is the factory fitted touring package. It includes a deluxe touring seat that offers more support for long highway stretches, a pillion backrest to improve comfort for the passenger, and a tall transparent flyscreen to cut down wind blast at higher speeds.

Royal Enfield’s Tripper navigation pod is standard on this edition. It offers Bluetooth connectivity and turn by turn navigation once paired with a smartphone. A USB Type C fast charging port is also provided so riders can keep phones and small devices topped up on the move.

A major mechanical highlight is the use of tubeless spoke wheels that are compatible with tubeless tyres. This gives the motorcycle the classic look of wire spoke wheels while still allowing the practicality of tubeless rubber, which is easier to repair on the road. The bike also gets adjustable brake and clutch levers so riders can set the lever reach to suit their hand size, LED headlamps for improved night time visibility, and a commemorative Motoverse 2025 badge.

Same Proven Engine And Chassis

Underneath the new colour and accessories, the Meteor 350 Sundowner Orange uses the same 349.34 cc single cylinder engine as the rest of the Meteor range. The motor produces 20.2 bhp at 6,100 rpm and 27 Nm of torque at 4,000 rpm, and is paired with a 5-speed gearbox. It uses air and oil cooling along with electronic fuel injection.

The chassis is based on a twin downtube frame designed to be stronger and stiffer without sacrificing comfort. A 1,400 mm wheelbase and 765 mm seat height give the Meteor a relaxed, accessible riding position suited to both city and highway use. Kerb weight is 191 kg with 90 percent fuel and oil, which is typical for a mid-capacity cruiser.

Suspension duties are handled by 41 mm front forks with 130 mm travel and twin rear shock absorbers with six step adjustable preload. Braking comes from a larger front disc with floating caliper and twin pistons, along with a rear disc. Dual channel ABS is standard for both ends. Fuel capacity is 15 litres with a three-litre reserve, giving the motorcycle useful range between fuel stops.

Built For Riders Who Tour More Than They Commute

Since launch, the Meteor 350 has built a reputation among riders for being easy to ride, comfortable over distance and styled in a way that is approachable rather than aggressive. The Sundowner Orange edition takes that base package and adds the accessories most owners tend to fit for long trips.

Royal Enfield unveiled the Sundowner Orange at Motoverse 2025, its annual motorcycling festival held from November 21 to 23 at Vagator in Goa. The event featured custom builds, stunt shows, flat track and hill climb racing, music performances and a set of new product announcements. Bookings for the Meteor 350 Sundowner Orange opened on November 22.

The new edition joins Royal Enfield’s wider 350 cc line-up that includes the Classic 350, Hunter 350, Bullet 350 and the regular Meteor 350 variants. For riders who spend more time on steady highway runs than quick city hops, the Sundowner Orange offers a more complete long-distance package straight from the showroom. The flyscreen, touring seat, navigation and tubeless spoke wheels cover most of the common upgrades touring riders usually make, reducing the need for aftermarket accessories and fitting work after purchase.
