Today, women are riding all types of bikes, including sports bikes, superbikes, and adventure motorcycles, along with others. There are many women riders who take these bikes on long and short trips and enjoy them to the fullest. However, there are a few situations in which these women cannot handle their bikes, and it is when they fall. Recently, a video has gone viral on the internet in which a short girl was seen struggling to pick up her Kawasaki ZX-10R superbike after it fell at a fuel station. Thankfully, one of the staff from the station helped her out.

Short girl drops her Kawasaki ZX-10R at pump

This video, showing the short girl getting helped by a fuel station attendant, has been shared on Instagram by Zatch Asis on their page. The short clip starts off with the view of a Kawasaki ZX-10R superbike, worth ₹20 lakh, fallen on the ground just before the pump.

It can be noted that the rider of this particular superbike is a short girl who was wearing a helmet and standing right next to it. In the clip, she can be seen staring at the motorcycle while an attendant from the fuel station was picking up this motorcycle.

Thankfully, the attendant already knew how to properly lift a fallen superbike, and he quickly managed to pick it up. We can observe that the attendant had already engaged the side stand and then picked up the bike using support from his back. Following this, the short girl rider then sits on her bike.

Should short women ride superbikes?

It may seem a little offensive, but it has to be stated that men and women with short height should ride such expensive superbikes very carefully. The primary reason behind this statement is the weight and dimensions of such bikes. Most superbikes, like the Kawasaki ZX-10R, Suzuki Hayabusa, and others, are very tall and wide bikes.

Also, they are extremely heavy when compared to normal bikes that are sold in India. As a result, when these bikes fall due to lack of control or any other cause, it becomes very difficult for shorter people, who may not be as strong, to pick these bikes up from the ground. Also, even if the person is strong, it requires special techniques to pick up such superbikes.

Can cause a dent in the pocket

In a normal bike, even if the person riding is short, they can drop it fully or partially, and it will not damage the bike as much. However, as these superbikes have lightweight body panels, sometimes even made of extremely expensive carbon fiber, they can easily break. As a result, they not only can cause injury to the person riding but can also become very expensive to fix.

Most of the parts of these high-end superbikes are very costly, and they take a lot of time to become available. As a result, the vehicle can get parked at the dealership for a long time. So, for these reasons, people with short height should be very careful while riding such expensive motorcycles.

There are a number of netizens and so-called “gurus” in the comments section of this post who have supported this short girl riding the Kawasaki ZX-10R. However, it has to be mentioned that it might not be as safe of an endeavor as it has been advertised. We are not saying that women should not ride motorcycles. In fact, there are a ton of women who ride even bigger adventure motorcycles.

However, in the case of an adventure motorcycle, even if it falls on the ground, they have a lot of protectors and guards that take the brunt of the fall. However, in the case of a superbike like the Kawasaki ZX-10R and others, they lack such protectors and guards. So, riders need to be very careful with such bikes because they can drain out the wallet pretty quickly.
