Recently, a Suzuki V-Strom adventure bike owner shared a video online. In this, it looks like he is riding through the Windows XP wallpaper that we all know, and have nostalgia for.
This video of a bike rider’s view of Windows XP wallpaper in real life has been shared on Reddit. In this short clip, the rider can be seen riding his yellow Suzuki V-Strom adventure motorcycle on an empty stretch of road. As per the rider, this video was shot somewhere along the Hyderabad to Bengaluru Highway.
We can observe that the highway is almost empty and the views that were offered are nothing short of mesmerizing. Light blue skies with dense white clouds and green grass and trees on the land all look extremely beautiful.

Suzuki V-Strom Adventure Motorcycle

From the video, we can note that the bike that this rider is riding is a Suzuki V-Strom adventure motorcycle. The company currently sells the V-Strom 800DE in India, and it is priced at Rs 10.30 lakh (ex-showroom). The company offers this adventure motorcycle in three colors: Champion Yellow No. 2, Glass Mat Mechanical Gray, and Glass Sparkle Black.
In terms of the tech and features, the Suzuki V-Strom 800DE comes equipped with a 5-inch color TFT display, USB charging port, LED lighting all around, and more. As for the safety equipment, it gets Suzuki Intelligent Ride System (S.I.R.S.). The features included are Suzuki Drive Mode Selector and Suzuki Traction Control System with Gravel mode.

It also comes with Ride-by-wire throttle, bi-directional quickshifter, ABS modes, low RPM assist, and the Suzuki Easy Start System. The V-Strom 800DE comes fitted with 21 and 17-inch wheels with rough terrain tires. Additionally, it gets a 20-litre fuel tank capacity. In terms of suspension, the bike comes with Showa USD front forks and a rear monoshock.
The bike draws its power from a 776cc, parallel-twin, DOHC motor. This engine comes mated to a six-speed gearbox. As for the power figures, this motor generates a maximum power of 84 bhp at 8,500 rpm and 78 Nm at 6,800 rpm.
Suzuki V-Strom SX

Back in 2022, the company also launched a more affordable variant of the V-Strom. It is called the Suzuki V-Strom SX, which starts at Rs 2.15 lakh. It comes powered by a 249cc, 4-stroke, 1-cylinder, oil-cooled SOHC engine. It makes 26.5 bhp of power and 22.2 Nm of peak torque and comes mated to a six-speed gearbox.
