2025 Ultraviolette EV Two-Wheeler Buyers Guide

Ultraviolette is an electric two-wheeler brand that was recently introduced in the Indian market. The electric two-wheeler manufacturer launched the first-ever performance electric bike in the Indian market a few years ago. In 2025, Ultraviolette launched two new products. They have always been a brand that comes up with unique products, and 2025 was no different. Ultraviolette launched an electric scooter and an electric enduro bike.
Tesseract is the name of Ultraviolette’s first-ever electric scooter. The scooter has been launched at an introductory price of Rs 1.2 lakh, applicable for the first 10,000 customers. After this, the price will be revised to Rs 1.45 lakh (ex-showroom).
Ultraviolette Tesseract – The name of the scooter is unique and sounds like something from outer space. Marvel movie and comic fans may have already heard this name before. The scooter was designed in a way that justifies its name. Based on Ultraviolette’s next-gen platform, the Tesseract almost looks like a spaceship on two wheels. Ultraviolette offers the electric scooter in Stealth Black, Sonic Pink, and Desert Sand shades. It is, in fact, claimed to be the most advanced electric scooter in India.
Tesseract is a proper tech-loaded scooter. It comes with dual radar, front and rear cameras that enable features like blind spot detection, overtake alert, and collision alert—these are all segment-first features.
The scooter also comes with a 7-inch touchscreen TFT display, an integrated dashcam, wireless charging, a handlebar with haptic feedback, keyless access, park assist, hill hold, cruise control, navigation, music control, and more.
The scooter offers 14-inch wheels and comes with 34 liters of under-seat storage. It has disc brakes at both ends, along with dual-channel ABS, traction control, and dynamic stability control.
The scooter is available with three battery pack options—3.5 kWh, 5 kWh, and 6 kWh. Depending on the battery pack, the range of the scooter will differ. The scooter is powered by an electric motor that generates 20.1 bhp and offers a certified range of 261 km on a single charge. The scooter can accelerate from 0-60 kmph in just 2.9 seconds and has a top speed of 125 kmph.
The next product that Ultraviolette showcased at the event was the electric enduro bike, Shockwave. The price for this electric bike starts at Rs 1.5 lakh (ex-showroom). This is an introductory price for the first 1,000 customers. After this, the price will be revised to Rs 1.75 lakh (ex-showroom).
The electric bike is designed to appeal to customers who love off-roading. It features vertically placed dual LED projector headlamps, a tall windscreen, a sharp front beak, wire-spoke wheels, dual-purpose tires, and more.
It gets a long single seat that can accommodate two riders. The high-set handlebar offers an upright riding position. It also comes with a fully digital instrument cluster that supports Bluetooth, smartphone pairing, and many other connected features.
Shockwave also comes with features like four-level traction control, six levels of dynamic regeneration, a 37 mm telescopic fork, a mono-shock at the rear, disc brakes at both ends with dual-channel switchable ABS, 19-inch wheels at the front and 17-inch wheels at the rear, and more.
In terms of performance, the Ultraviolette Shockwave is powered by an electric motor generating 14.7 BHP and 505 Nm of peak torque at the rear wheel. The electric motor is mated to a single-speed transmission.
The 4 kWh battery pack on this bike is capable of offering a claimed riding range of 165 km. The Shockwave weighs only around 120 kg, making it quick as well. This electric enduro motorcycle can accelerate from 0-60 km/h in just 2.9 seconds, with a top speed of 120 km/h.
Apart from these two recently launched models, Ultraviolette has the F77 electric bike in its lineup. This is actually available in two versions—the F77 Mach 2 and the F77 SuperStreet. The F77 Mach 2 is the updated version of the electric sports bike that was launched back in 2022. This was the first model from Ultraviolette in India.
The motorcycle is powered by a 7.1 kWh battery pack in the Mach 2 version, while the Mach 2 Recon variant uses a 10.3 kWh battery pack. The standard Mach 2 generates 40.2 PS and 90 Nm of torque, while the bigger battery version generates 100 Nm of torque with the same power output. The Mach 2 offers a range of 211 km, while the Recon variant gets 323 km. The introductory price for the Mach 2 was Rs 2.99 lakh, while the Recon variant was priced at Rs 3.99 lakh.
The SuperStreet variant of the F77 was launched in the market recently, and it is a more street-oriented version of the F77. In terms of design, both the F77 Mach 2 and SuperStreet look the same. However, there are a few differentiating elements, like an upright handlebar for a better city-friendly riding position. The battery pack and range of this variant remain the same as the Mach 2. Prices for the SuperStreet variant also start at Rs 2.99 lakh.
