Just a few months ago, Ultraviolette, the electric two-wheeler start-up based out of Bangalore, Karnataka, rolled out the Gen 3 powertrain firmware, which gave the F77 Superstreet and Mach 2 a new Ballistic+ mode. Recently, showing how the Ultraviolette F77, despite being designed for the street, can conquer uncharted terrains, a video was shared online. In this video, the F77 EV motorcycle can be seen riding on a mountain during a heavy downpour and climbing up a waterfall.

The video showing the Ultraviolette F77 riding on an extremely dangerous mountain has been shared on YouTube by Ultraviolette’s official channel. It starts off with a rider getting ready to take out the F77 Superstreet electric motorcycle and ride it on the steep climb of a mountain forest. The rider, wearing complete riding gear including a proper bodysuit, helmet, and shoes, can be seen riding the bike.

He first rides on the beautifully scenic roads before coming to the steep climb with an extremely rocky road. This type of road is generally only tackled by an adventure motorcycle. However, Ultraviolette, with the F77 Superstreet, wanted to show that despite being designed for streets and tracks, it can still ride on any terrain. The video then shows the rider reaching a narrow river.

It can be noted that the rider rides this bike in the water and manages to take it quite far up the waterfall. Following this, he can be seen riding the bike on the slippery, muddy terrain with beautiful lush greenery. The F77 Superstreet was losing grip in some sections; however, the rider still continued. The bike eventually reached halfway to the top of the mountain.

Ultraviolette F77 series

The Bangalore-based electric start-up is offering the F77 electric motorcycle in two variants, namely Superstreet and Mach 2. The Superstreet was launched by Ultraviolette back in January of this year. This bike comes equipped with a flat, tubular handlebar for a relaxed, upright riding position suited for touring and everyday comfort.

As for the Mach 2, which was launched before, it is designed to cater to more aggressive riders. It comes with clip-on handlebars for a sportier, more committed, and aggressive riding stance. Both bikes come with the same electric powertrain; however, there is a difference in power.

The Superstreet and Mach 2 Standard variants make 36.2 bhp and 90 Nm of torque. They also get a 7.1 kWh battery pack offering a range of 211 km. They can accelerate from 0–100 kmph in just 7.8 seconds and also reach a top speed of 155 kmph.

On the other hand, the Mach 2 and Superstreet Recon variants offer 40.2 bhp and 100 Nm of torque. As for the battery pack, they get 10.3 kWh units, which provide a range of 323 km on a single full charge. The top speed of 155 kmph is the same, but the 0–100 kmph time is 0.1 second quicker.

Ultraviolette also recently rolled out the Gen 3 powertrain firmware update. With this update, both bikes get Ballistic+ mode, which brings about sharper and quicker acceleration. Prior to this, the company rolled out another update that gave the F77 traction control, Dynamic Stability Control (UVDSC), 10 levels of regenerative braking, Hill-Hold Assist, and Violette AI to the F77 range.
