Ultraviolette recently launched two new products for the Indian market. Just like their F77 electric bike, the newly introduced Tesseract scooter and the Shockwave have become a topic of discussion on the internet. Tesseract has been launched at an attractive starting price of Rs 1.45 lakh, ex-showroom. If you are among the first 10,000 customers, you can actually get the scooter for an even lower price of Rs 1.20 lakh, ex-showroom.

The Tesseract, an electric maxi-scooter, has captured many viewers' attention for several reasons. Bookings for the Tesseract have already started, and deliveries are expected to begin early next year. The Ultraviolette Tesseract is the most advanced scooter currently available in the country, and here are five reasons why we believe so.

Radars

The Ultraviolette Tesseract is the first scooter from India to offer this feature. The scooter showcased at the event came equipped with radars as part of the Advanced Rider Assistance System (ARAS). This system includes features like collision alerts and lane change alerts. The full-circle radar system ensures rider safety by continuously monitoring the surroundings in real time.

Dashcams

In addition to radars, the safety features on the Tesseract include an integrated dashcam. The cameras capture both the front and rear of the scooter while it is in motion. These cameras can also adjust the scooter's setup by analyzing weather and terrain conditions for maximum control.

With cameras at both the front and rear, working alongside the radars, the Tesseract enhances safety. The scooter also offers a blind-spot detection system, along with alerts such as overtake alerts and front & rear collision alerts, which are displayed on the Omnisense mirrors. This is a feature that has not been seen on any other electric scooter or any scooter sold in India.

Haptic Feedback on Handlebar

This is another unique feature that has not been seen in any scooter so far. Ultraviolette claims to offer haptic feedback on the handlebar of the Tesseract.

Why is this feature useful? Although Ultraviolette has not shared many details about it, we assume that it works in conjunction with the safety features to notify the rider about obstacles or nearby vehicles through slight vibrations on the handlebar.

7-Inch Touchscreen Display

The instrument cluster on the Tesseract is a 7-inch touchscreen unit. It provides essential ride-related information while also offering built-in navigation and several connected features to enhance the rider’s experience.

You can connect your smartphone to the instrument cluster via Bluetooth to control music and receive notifications.

Wireless Phone Charging

Another standout feature is the inclusion of a wireless charger—something we haven't seen in any other scooter. This is particularly useful since many people forget to carry their charging cables. If your phone supports wireless charging, you can charge it conveniently using the built-in wireless charger, which is located in the apron cubbyhole of the scooter.

Additional Features
