Piaggio India has launched its 2025 Vespa scooter range, introducing new features and models. The updated Vespa scooters start at ₹1.32 lakh and go up to ₹1.96 lakh for the top-spec Tech S variant (ex-showroom, Delhi). The 2025 lineup includes the standard Vespa and Vespa S variants, with the VXL now rebranded as Vespa and the SXL as Vespa S. A new Tech variant has been added to both models, offering additional features. Prices have been announced for the 125 cc versions, while prices for the 150 cc models will be revealed later. The new Vespa scooter range will be available at dealerships across the country from February 25, 2025.

What’s New in 2025

The 2025 Vespa and Vespa S feature updated 125 cc and 150 cc engines that are OBD-2B compliant. The 125 cc engine now delivers 9.38 bhp and 10.1 Nm, while the 150 cc engine produces 11.26 bhp and 11.66 Nm. Compared to the previous versions, power and torque have increased slightly.

The base variants of the 2025 Vespa and Vespa S retain their classic design, featuring an analogue instrument console with a digital readout.

The base Vespa offers seven color options: Verde Amabile, Rosso Red, Pearl White, Nero Black, Azzurro Provenza, Blue & Pearl White, and Orange & Pearl White. The Vespa S comes in Verde Ambizioso (Matte), Oro, Pearl White, Nero Black (Matte), Giallo Yellow (Matte), Arancio Impulsivo, Red & Pearl White, and Black & Pearl White.

The Vespa and Vespa S Tech variants include features like keyless ignition and a 5-inch TFT display with Bluetooth connectivity and navigation. The Vespa Tech is available in Energico Blue and Grigio Grey, while the Vespa S Tech comes in Nero Black (Matte) and Pearl White. Additionally, there’s a special India-specific Qala edition with Mehendi-inspired graphics, priced at ₹1.92 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi).
