People performing stunts on public roads and getting into trouble have been reported on our website several times. We have also come across several videos in the past where cops have taken action against couples who were seen romancing on moving vehicles. Here, we have one such video where a couple is seen romancing on a moving bike. The video has been going viral on the internet.
The video has been shared by Karnataka Portfolio on their Instagram page. As per the video, the couple was spotted somewhere in Bengaluru. The video was recorded by someone who was passing through the same road behind the biker. In this video, we see a Royal Enfield bike in front of the car.
The bike is being ridden fast, and there is something unusual about it too. We see someone sitting on the fuel tank of the bike facing the rider. A few seconds into the video, you realize that it is a couple on the bike, and they are actually romancing on a public road. This is not the first time we have seen an act like this on a public road. Neither the rider nor the pillion (or the person sitting on the fuel tank) is wearing a helmet, which makes the situation even more dangerous.
They are riding through a fairly busy road, and if they were to lose control and fall from the bike, both of them would be seriously injured. The video mentions that the registration number of the bike is KA05 LP 4665. We are not sure if the Bengaluru police have come across this video yet. Usually, in such cases, the cops take action against the rider almost immediately.
Typically, the police trace the owner of the vehicle using the registration number. Once that is done, they seize the vehicle, take necessary action against the rider, and issue a fine. Just like riding without safety gear, public displays of affection are also illegal in India. This is not the first time we have come across a video or incident like this from India.

A few months ago, a similar incident occurred in Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh. The incident took place on NH9, which connects Delhi and Meerut. In that case, the biker had a girl riding not on the pillion seat but on the bike’s tank.
The girl was facing the rider and hugging him tightly. The video of that incident was also shared online, and the Uttar Pradesh police responded promptly. The biker was fined Rs 21,000 for multiple offenses. We assume that the rider from Bengaluru would also be treated similarly by the cops.
By doing such stunts on public roads, you are not only risking your own life but the lives of other road users. As you can see, neither of them is wearing a helmet, which is extremely dangerous.
In the event of an accident, both would likely sustain serious injuries. We have seen several cases in the past that have shown how important a helmet is. A good quality riding helmet can save you from head injuries.
