Generally, when we imagine a superbike like a Suzuki Hayabusa, we think of a rider wearing full riding gear and riding at high speeds alone. However, India is a place where you can see extremely unexpected things on a random day. This time around, a video has gone viral in which a Hayabusa rider was seen taking his mother on a ride. Like most older Indian mothers, this mom was also wearing a saree.

Mom Wearing Saree Rides on a Suzuki Hayabusa

This video of a man taking his mother on a ride on his Suzuki Hayabusa has been shared on Instagram by Apurva123423 on their page. In this short clip, we can see that a rider wearing a jacket and a helmet was riding his Suzuki Hayabusa superbike. As for the interesting part, his mother was seen sitting on the pillion seat with both her legs on the left side.

A lot of women in India who wear sarees and travel with their partners on two-wheelers sit in this manner. This is done because it is not feasible to sit on a motorcycle with legs on each side. It must be mentioned that this is not a safe method of riding on a two-wheeler. However, despite the safety hazard it poses, women still sit in this manner.

What is also unsafe is that most of these women or other pillion riders in India do not wear a helmet. This is a huge safety risk, and the government has been implementing strict rules to ensure helmets are worn while riding on a two-wheeler. Unfortunately, people still choose to ignore the rules and ride without helmets.

Coming to the bike seen in the video, as mentioned, it is the Suzuki Hayabusa. It is hands down one of the most legendary superbikes ever launched in India. This bike currently costs ₹17 lakh. It comes equipped with a 1,340cc, inline four-cylinder engine. The liquid-cooled engine produces a maximum power of 190 PS and a peak torque of 150 Nm. The bike also comes with an array of electronic aids and features.

Three Girls Seen Riding Twin-Cylinder Royal Enfields

Recently, another video went viral on the internet in which three girls were seen riding a Royal Enfield Continental GT650 and two Interceptor 650s. In this clip, two girls were waiting on the side of the road for their friend. Following this, their third friend joined them, and then all three started riding their motorcycles on the road.

Unfortunately, as cool as this video was, the one thing that was wrong was that none of these female riders were seen wearing a helmet. They also did not wear any other riding gear, which is something that should not be promoted. Over the last few months, a number of similar videos have been shared online in which people have not been wearing helmets and other safety gear in order to look more aesthetic.

Always Wear Proper Riding Gear

High-end bikes like the Suzuki Hayabusa and Royal Enfield 650 twins, along with others, have a lot of power. Because of this, people love riding them at high speeds. However, not wearing proper riding gear like a helmet, jacket, gloves, knee pads, and shoes can cause severe injuries to the rider in case of an unfortunate accident. Also, even if someone is riding a commuter bike, wearing a helmet is a must because no one can predict when an accident might take place.
