VLF Mobster Petrol Automatic Scooter Confirmed For India Launch

The Indian distributor and assembler Motohaus India is bringing the Italian two-wheeler brand VLF (Velocifero) to the Indian market. For the debut of this new brand, the petrol-powered VLF Mobster scooter will be launched in the country. VLF is aiming to target the young Gen Z buyers with its Mobster scooter. It will boast a number of segment-first features such as a front dash cam, liquid cooling, and switchable ABS.
Recently, Motohaus India confirmed that the VLF Mobster will be making its official debut around the festive season of this year. At the moment, the company has not revealed the exact date of the launch of the Mobster. However, it will soon be announcing the dates for the reservation and deliveries of this scooter before it gets officially launched in the country.
Initially, Motohaus India will ensure that the VLF Mobster becomes available in major Indian cities like Delhi, Pune, Bangalore, Ahmedabad, Goa, Kolhapur, and Sangli. Following this, the dealership network will be strengthened with aggressive expansion plans in other cities before launch.
Designed by the Italian designer Alessandro Tartarini, the Mobster, as mentioned, will be aimed towards young Gen Z buyers who like new and unique designs. This scooter takes its design inspiration from naked streetfighter motorcycles. It boasts very muscular, aerodynamic styling.
At the front, it gets full LED lighting, an armour-like front apron with exposed hardware, a detached windshield, and chunky side guards that are neatly integrated with the design. On the side profile, it continues the same exposed hardware, air vents, and overall looks like a baby two-wheeler spaceship. The rear also gets LED taillights.
Now coming to the features, the VLF Mobster will boast a number of unique and segment-first features. Its list will include a factory-fitted dash cam for live ride recording, dual-channel switchable ABS, and a liquid-cooled engine. At the moment, the company has not announced specific details of the engine of this scooter. Globally, the Mobster gets 2 single cylinder engine options, both liquid cooled. The 125cc motor makes 12 PS-11.7 Nm, and the 180cc motor makes 18 PS-15.7 Nm.
Other notable highlights of the VLF Mobster will include a 5-inch full-color TFT display. It will provide the rider with ride stats, notifications, and scooter controls. It will also get a mobile screen mirroring feature and access to navigation, calls, and music directly on the scooter’s screen. A USB charging port will also be offered.
Mechanically, the Mobster will boast a set of sporty-looking multispoke alloy wheels and disc brakes on both ends. It will also get hydraulic suspension, which, when combined with a high-tensile steel frame, will be able to deliver confident handling and ride comfort.
Commenting on the confirmation of the arrival of the VLF Mobster, Tushar Shelke, Founder of Motohaus India, stated, “With the Mobster, we will not just be adding another scooter to the market, we will be creating a new category altogether once launched.” He added, “When you combine segment-leading technologies like liquid cooling, switchable ABS, and an integrated dash cam with aggressive Italian design, it becomes more than just a ride. It’s about what it says about you. The Mobster speaks the Gen Z language – powerful, connected, and unapologetically stylish.”
