Owning your favourite motorcycle is definitely a winning moment in life. We have over the years, seen many videos and pictures of people taking deliveries of their favourite motorcycles. A recent reel shared on Instagram shows a wife surprising her husband with a brand-new Royal Enfield Himalayan 450.
The video shared by safetyfreakbiker shows a wife skilfully taking her husband to a Royal Enfield dealership. The two of them converse in Tamil, suggesting this to be from somewhere in Tamil Nadu. She is carrying their baby in her arms. The husband has no clue of what’s in store for him. In another few minutes, this wife is about to give her husband a big, tall and torquey surprise.
The two are welcomed warmly by the dealer staff. The guy seems to have no clue of what’s happening and what they are there for. He can be seen asking the same/expressing these concerns on video. The staff soon congratulates the guy on his new buy. He doesn’t understand and asks, ‘Who bought what?’. The man is then told that his wife has bought a new motorcycle for him. He is shocked and surprised.
In the next few shots, we see the guy unveiling a brand-new Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 wearing Black. He is surprised and speechless and says he feels as if he is in a dream.
We don’t know if this entire thing was organic or scripted. But it is definitely getting netizens happy and appreciative. A lot of people are commenting on the reel, congratulating and praising the couple. ‘This is what winning in life looks like! About Royal Enfield Himalayan 450
Royal Enfield launched the new Himalayan 450 in India in November 2023. It is available in three variants- Base, Pass and Summit- all inspired by mountains. The motorcycle is based on an all-new platform and comes powered by a new engine. The motorcycle is powered by a new 452cc Sherpa engine. The Himalayan 450 gets 21 inch front and 17 inch rear wheels.
This single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine is capable of generating 39.5bhp at 8,000 rpm and a peak torque of 40Nm at 5,500 rpm. The gearbox on offer is a six-speed unit, and there is even ride-by-wire system on offer. When compared to the previous Himalayan 411, the new motorcycle gets an improved low end torque. This engine also comes with liquid-cooling.
The suspension setup consists of Showa units. The front gets long travel telescopic forks while the rear makes do with a comfortable twin-shock setup. This setup brings about an excellent balance between ride quality and overall dynamics.
This is the Himalayan that you can carve corners with and also take to rough terrains and bad patches. The seat height and riding position of the new Himalayan are designed to maximise comfort and rideability. On bad patches, this ADV motorcycle feels comfortable to ride and on highways it feels reassuring to go fast.
