A lot of young people today have become addicted to social media. They want to quickly gain fame online, and for this, they are willing to risk their lives as well. Almost every day now, we see people performing stupid stunts on public roads and sharing videos online. Unfortunately, a lot of times, because of these reels, people get into accidents. Recently, another video of one such stunt has been shared online. In this particular incident, two young boys on a Yamaha R15 sports bike collided with a truck and then fell on the road.
Reckless Riders Fall After Hitting a Truck
This video of two reckless young men stunting and falling on the road has been shared on X by Manisha Yadav on her page. It starts off with three bikes, including a Yamaha R15, a Bajaj Pulsar 220F, and another bike weaving on a single-lane road. We can note that the rider of the first bike was constantly switching between his side and the other side of the road.
After weaving a couple of times, he notices a truck coming from the other direction and tries moving back to his own lane. However, unfortunately, his reaction was slightly slow, and this caused him to crash into the front right portion of the truck coming from the opposite direction.
What Happened Next?
Soon after the biker hit the truck, he lost balance and went towards the left side of the road. We can note that the person sitting on the rear seat put his leg on the road after getting hit by the truck. As the speed was high and the rider could not control the bike, they both eventually fell on the road. Most likely, both the rider and the pillion would have suffered a lot of injuries.
Why Were These Guys Stunting on a Public Road?
As mentioned above, this reckless riding was being done by these stupid bikers to create short reels for Instagram, YouTube, and other social media platforms. Many young people believe that performing dangerous stunts on public roads will get them more views, likes, and subscribers, and boost their popularity. Unfortunately, this could not be any further from the truth.
Over the years, we have seen numerous cases where many young people have been involved in dangerous accidents due to stunting on public roads. A little while ago, a video of a young boy getting hit by a truck while performing a stunt on a national highway was shared here on Cartoq. What happened was that the boy was standing on his bike with his arms in the air.
Suddenly, a truck driver came near and hit his bike. As a result, the biker fell on the highway and was crying for help. Thankfully, his fellow riders were behind him, and they immediately stopped their bikes and took him to the hospital. However, if this had happened when he was alone, he would not have been saved.
Apart from this, recently, another video was shared online in which a KTM RC sports bike rider crashes into not one, not two, but three different vehicles in a single turn. The video was shared online by Uttarakhand Police. In this short clip, it was noted that this bike rider was trying to make a leaning left turn on a mountain road.
Unfortunately, he took a slightly wider turn and crashed into a Bolero pickup truck. Soon after this, he crashed into two other vehicles that were behind the Bolero pickup. Thankfully, this particular rider was wearing a helmet and full riding gear, so he was safe.
