Young Biker Girl On TVS Apache Beaten Up By Maruti Dzire Driver In Broad Daylight: Live Video
Road rage has become a huge issue in recent years. We have seen numerous lunatic goons harassing other drivers on the road for very stupid reasons. Sometimes these goons even assault drivers, and this time around, a video of a young biker woman getting assaulted in broad daylight has been shared online. In this short video, a girl named Ruchika Thakare from Wardha, Maharashtra, was hit by a security officer and his wife on a public road. It was noted that the girl was bleeding from her nose after she was hit.
Biker Girl Assaulted on Public Roads
This entire case of Ruchika Thakare getting assaulted started on January 17. It was reported by her that, on the morning of January 17, she was riding her TVS Apache on the road, and at a turn, she was hit by a car. She then confronted the driver of the Maruti Dzire, and instead of him picking up the girl and checking up on her, he started looking for the damages done to his Dzire.
During this, the girl got angry as she was hurt, and seeing this, the wife of the Maruti Dzire driver came out of the car. The husband and wife both started verbally abusing the girl. Following this, the driver of the Dzire sat in his car along with his wife, and he ran over Ruchika’s foot as she was asking him to stop the car and address the issue.
Next, Ruchika immediately called her brother and her mother, and they all headed to the police station. After this, she explained the entire case to the police officials at the station and submitted the picture of the car which caused the accident. The girl was then taken to the hospital for a physical checkup, after which her FIR was filed.
After the complaint was officially registered at the police station, one of the relatives of the car driver started talking to the girl and suggested she withdraw her complaint. He started forcing her and mentioned that she would not get anything out of it. When she did not withdraw her complaint, she was then followed by the same relative the next day.
When Did the Assault Take Place?
On January 18, when Ruchika Thakare was returning from her job, it was noted that the same relative mentioned earlier was following her. In a situation of panic, she parked her TVS Apache on the left side of the road to check if he was still following her or not. During this time, a Maruti Dzire driver named Sudhir Kharkate brought his car in front of the girl and started shouting at her to move away.
She then explained to him her situation, but the driver, who is a security officer at Mahatma Gandhi International Hindi University, Wardha, did not care. He was then joined by his wife, who also started abusing the TVS Apache-riding girl. During this altercation, the girl switched on the camera of her phone and started recording this couple who was harassing her.
Unfortunately, instead of stopping, Kharkate came and slapped the girl on the face. Soon after this, she also started hitting the man and his wife. However, she was overpowered by the couple, and they started hitting her very aggressively. As can be seen in the video, they kept slapping her, and no one on the road was able to save the girl. It can be noted that the girl even fell on the road and was crying for help.
What Happened to the Girl?
Following the incident, it was noted that the girl was bleeding from her nose. Also, when she was taken to the hospital, her CT scan revealed that she had suffered a lot of injuries. Additionally, her left eye has been swollen, and her vision has also become blurry.
Has This Couple Been Arrested?
No. As per Ruchika Thakare, the couple who assaulted her during broad daylight in front of many bystanders has not been arrested as of yet. In the video where she described the entire incident, she requested people to support her and help her in getting her complaint registered.
