The rear end is expected to boast sleek LED tail lights with a light bar signature and updated skid plates, adding a contemporary edge. Complemented by new 16-inch dual-tone alloys and dual-tone paint options, the Punch Facelift aims to retain its stylish appeal, setting itself apart from the already launched Punch EV, which features distinctive blue accents.

Safety will continue to be a priority, with standard features like dual airbags, ABS, rear parking sensors, seat belt reminders, and high-speed alerts. It is expected that the top variants of Punch Facelift will also incorporate additional side and curtain airbags, increasing the total count to six. Enhanced user convenience is anticipated with the addition of backlit volume and control knobs.
The Tata Punch Facelift 2025 is expected to retain the familiar 1.2L Revotron petrol engine, capable of delivering 86hp and 113Nm of torque, paired with either a 5-speed manual or AMT gearbox. Additionally, Tata is likely to refine the CNG variant to address initial issues and potentially boost sales. There’s also speculation that the more powerful 120hp 1.2L turbo-petrol engine from the Nexon could be introduced in the Punch lineup.
While the ICE-powered Punch will undergo updates primarily focused on aesthetic enhancements, the spotlight is on the Punch EV. Leveraging Tata’s Gen 2 architecture, the Punch EV offers practicality in electric vehicle ownership like never before. It features two battery options, a real-world range of over 315km, fast charging capabilities, and a price range between Rs 11-15 lakh, making it an attractive option for Indian families looking for an electric SUV.
